Before my daughter went to school for her periodical exam last week,i was so nervous.
I thought shes not gonna make it because i think the review we had was not enough for her to pass.
Yesterday she gave me her exam papers and i am so happy to see that she almost nailed her mathematics.
She got 32 out of 40. :-D
She was so excited showing me her paper and showed me where she got wrong.
She don't know that i am more than happy having her pass her exams especially her mathematics. And it is giving me more confidence to teach her myself rather than getting tutor to teach her.
Will you agree with me on that one??have you had such moment that you feel confident teaching your kids??or you still want to hire tutor for your kids?

Congratulations to you and your daughter! Job well done :-) You should always encourage your kids to do well. Positive reinforcement is the key :-)

First thing first, congratulations for you as mother and your daughter for getting a good score. Well, my daughter is only eight months old, so I've never experienced like yours. But, I've read some books telling that parents are not allowed to put the kids down. Parents have to always support the kids, whatever the situation. Even when they get bad scores. We have to make our kids be confident.
I think it's okay to teach our own kids if we're able to do so. Just be confident. I also have a plan to teach my daughter on English subject and mathematics. However, maybe we need to hire tutor for subject we cannot do.. :)
