Having a webhosting! Need ideas

Hello my dear friends. I am back after a long time on mylot again. As i mentioned in the subject. I have a web hosting plan with unlimited space and bandwidth. I am in great trouble. I bought it for study purpose but now i want to build a website. A useful website. But i have no idea what type of website should i build. So thats why I am here. My friends can you suggest me on what can i make a website. I want a website which will be maintained by myself and people also can contribute there. I thought a lot but could not find out any thing. Tried a lot but unable to build any kind of useful site. Your kind suggestions are awaited. Regards,
