I joined MyLot in Feb 2007. That is more than 4 years ago.
Unfortunately, myLot population today is only 236,598.
Is there any ways we could speed this up ?
May be everyone of us should target to refer as many friends as possible.
Oh yes, I will to start more discussion in future, something that could benefits others.
I have spent a few years learning internet marketing
and also have more than 10 years in aloe vera products.
Aloe Vera is a plant in which people say it is a Silent Healer.
It provides many medical benefits to a lot of health problem

MyLot needs its pages filled with quality discussions which engage the users in backward and forward comments which further the topic.
If new users who join get busy and particpate in the discussion then that would be interesting but if the majority of users just register and then sit on the side-lines, like you have done for 5 years, then what ios the point of a large population?
I hope you realise that starting more discussions in the future will not cause your earnings to increase unloess you make comments to those who respond. You are earning absolutely nothing for the responses/comments that others make on your topics because you only earn for your own particpation, not ours. If new users join and intend being busy then that could be beneficial but if they join and do not understand what to do here then it could have a negative result.
Quantity is never better than quality surely? Therefore fewer users but all particpating is what myLot needs.

Everyone have their own reasons for Mylot or any other sites.
I just try to start a new post after 4 years, but I found that many are negative
and sarcastic.
I have more than 20 years experience in aloe vera,
so I just want to tell people what I am doing. That is all.
If you are not interested, others may be interested.
However, find that a lot of people do not seem to be friendly.
Very discouraging.
That is all I want to said

Hello housewifes,
Why do you think we should increase the Mylot population faster? In fact, why should we increase it in any way? I think there are lot of users here, enough discussions to respond/comment on.
I think there are many users who sign in, stay for a short period of time and then leave Mylot. That's probably because they don't like it being here, I don't know.
I would rather wonder how to convince more people to join under me, to earn from their participation.

I agree that there do seem to be many who join, post for a while and then just vanish into thin air - like this user did too

I am very disappointed with the comments.
Yes, I joined more than 4 years ago and with very few posts.
But please be more friendly and positive!
Everyone have their own reasons for not joining or posting.
If you think it is not important to have more people joining MyLot, so be it.
It does not mean the quality is going bad if more people join.
I am just trying to start something again.
No need to be so sacastic !

Yes, I am thinking of contributing to MyLot.
That is why I to start a new post.
However, when I look at the posts some of them are posting,
instead of they themselves puting quality posts, they are just
very negative and sarcastic comment.
I wonder if their friends want to join

You can use your contact in social networking websites like facebook and canvass your friends to become members of mylot. You can refer and you may get referral earnings also.
You seem to have dealt with aloe vera products. What are its uses? goo day.

When I joined MyLot,It is not my intention to earn the referral money.
I joined because my friend invited me and frankly speaking I just want to make some friends sharing some thoughts.
But look at the "Quality"comments I get from some of them,
I have some doubt..
Yes, I have more than 20 years dealing with aloe vera.
It is a great plant.

Yes Aloe Vera is world best plant and its medicine is very costly and effective. No this population is not increasing fast you join late so you are feeling such. But mylot population is increasing day by day.

Maybe I am using sites like facebook and twiter as a yardstick.
Isn't it good if we have a lot more members ?

Thank you.
Everyone is busy and have their own priority.
I though of coming back to contribute some posts, but look at those so
called "QUALITy" comments. It is very discouraging

I really do think the population is fine increasing the way that it is. Trust me, you want steady increase of a community. Otherwise if there are too many people using a website, then the community is rather compromised in some ways. There are a lot less of a quality experience in the community with too many people. There have been times where I have been part of a close small knit website that ballooned and then there was so many problems.
We can refer a lot of people and while some of them will be quality members, many of them will not. Many will start nonsense discussions, thus burying the good discussions in a flood. Also more people mean more people starting discussions and that can spread the users of the website a bit too thin. I think that number at the bottom is kind of deceptive in a way. Regular members(and by regular members, let's just say that people who post at least three or four days out of the week), have to be about ten percent of that and that. I think that if everyone out of those two hundred thousand plus members were regular members, then that could be a problem. A larger community might sound nice but it doesn't work well.

Just thinking more members will have more diverse views.
We can always chose to make friends with those positive and friendly
people. There will be more choices

population at this site seems to continually grow.
Friend think that there are so many users as any other web.
because it con-trol is a wonderful place and everyone is back after a day or two or more absent.
I think the site is growing every day.
nice day!
Success!

you could refer a whole bunch of people by various means. However mylot is already slow, closed often for maintainance and brimming with newbies so it's best to maintain a steady but loyal population.
You could blog about it, refer to it in web pages and the like and link to it on websites but whether this will bring millions of users is unlikely. I like that not a huge number of people use it. :D
good discussion though...

I try everyday to ask my friends to join and I try to gather referrals online but it so hard as people do not want to earn by posting responses all day. To be honest, I love it and its super easy to do! That's crazy that the population is so small since myLot is so global but we should work really hard to increase the population numbers! The more the merrier!
