Umm, yeah, there were many words but i can't remember them... when i see a show on television that have mispronounced words, i laugh. That's mean. I have mispronounced many words and i correct them as soon as i know it was wrong.

You're mean. Tsk2x... But I am also like that. I tend to laugh at those too but I'm trying not to because it is not good. Like them, I am not perfect when it comes to pronouncing and spelling words. I also look for references and try to correct them. ^_^

I correct my parents a lot because they often mispronounce English words. I laugh but they're used to it, i think. I try to put humor in while correcting them, that way they wouldn't feel so bad. When i hear people mispronounce words, it's hard for me to focus on what the person is saying, my mind buzzes saying 'hey, it's pronounced this, not this' or 'study english, will you?' my evil self is bothersome, i have to keep quiet about it while i keep trying to listening to the person speak...

Same here! I try not to laugh but my mind keeps on telling me "seriously? is that how you really pronounce that word?" Ok, I am mean. But you're meanier. "Study English." Lolz... I bet you can't tell that straight to the face of that person. :P

I have in one sense. WHen I was doing my student teaching my lead teacher told me to hold on for a minute. She grabbed a dictionary to look up a word. after she confirmed that she was correct, she told me the word is "similar" not "simular"... lol. I always pronounce it correctly now! I think I picked up the mispronounciation from my mother's hick accent! lol!

Good one. Now you know how it is really pronounced. Better have a reference or any reliable source when you have doubts of a certain word or whatever. Besides, there are also search engines that could help you clear your doubts. Thanks for sharing. GOD BLESS and Happy MyLotting ^_^
