Hello MYLOTTERS,
Unlike other people i find myself different as i don't see dreams at night.
I think when a person don't take sleep properly he/she don't see dreams but on the contrary i do get a cosy sleep daily so what may be the reason.
Is there anybody who is like me? Is there anybody who can tell me how i sleep so that i can see dreams?

I don't dream when sleeping at night or in a day.
I seldom dream...so,you are not alone and I am not alone who seldom dreams.
I remember when I am a kid,I always dream at night, maybe because I love reading books and feel I am one of those characters

Lol ...... How could it be that you do not see dreams?
You may be too tired physically and/or mentally to see dream, when you are fast asleep.

uhmn...maybe I dreamed a lot when I am a kid.
Or maybe because I dream while I am awake...so no more dreams when I sleep.

@jai- I am unable to resolve the riddle, where do all your dreams disappear ........
-------------------------------------------------------------
@sjvg - You see even if you do not sleep during day, you would be dreaming when you are awake, therefore, you do not see any dreams, when you are sleeping during night.

I think that there are times where I don't really think that I see dreams as I sleep. However, they are just there. It is just not something that is going to really stick all that much past the time when I get up out of bed. That is really just something that is rather simple when one thinks about it. I think that we do dream, no matter how troubled the sleep. In fact, we dream even more if we are more troubled in our sleep.
I just think most nights, I don't remember anything. Today, I wake up and realize that nothing is there. There is not one second in my dream that really is memorable enough to sleep. There's really nothing wrong with that most of the time. It is just the way things happen. Sometimes as we dream, nothing is going to be there with us as we wake. There are times where we dream, but perhaps only remember about two percent of what we dream, if we're lucky.

Hello Megamatt,
Thats right i also when rarely see a dream hardly i could remember it.
I really get surprised when people tell the story of their dreams as if they remembered it fully.
And i think there are logic behind not reminding dreams. It is because our brain is also half asleep so it can't keep it in the memory.

We all dream unless we don't have REM sleep. The thing is we don't REMEMBER the dreams. I almost never remember dreams. It's a rare occasion that I do. There have been some dreams that are vivid and they stay with me forever.. but then most I don't even remember. If anyone sees your eyes moving rapidly under your lids, you are dreaming.. they probably won't see them though, if they are also asleep...
If you don't sleep well, you may have a sleep disorder.. and should see a doctor. We need our REM sleep for good health.

If you are getting good restful sleep, you most likely ARE getting REM sleep. Most of us have no idea we dream because we don't remember them. The only way I remember a dream is if I wake up while I am dreaming and then I will forget it right away.. usually unless I jot it down when I first wake up. I used to keep a pad by the bed for when I woke up during a dream.
However, most of us say we don't dream because we aren't aware of them. I wrote some articles about the importance of REM sleep to our health for my health and medical article writing. No one really understands the whole function of sleep.. we say to recharge our batteries.. but most of our metabolic functions also depend on sleep, from what I studied.

I read an article saying that everyone experiences more than 10 dreams a day and most of them can't be recalled once we wake up. There are dreams though that are too significant we will be able to recall all the details of it when we woke up. In your case, your dreams are probably not that memorable or not so unusual that's why you forget them easily.

May be you see dreams at day time this may be the reason why you do not see dreams at night time, Just poking you.
There is nothing so you can see good dreams. The only way to have good dream is, Just pray to god to give good dreams and thoughts. Hope he will help you.

You probably are having dreams but you don't remember them. The longest dream of the night happens almost right before you wake up, so if there is any chance you will remember a dream, it will happen then. Another reason might be that you aren't sleeping well. If you have noticed that you have a lot of trouble sleeping, that could be the cause but I doubt it. You probably just don't remember them because they don't have a clear story line.

Hi sjvg: I think that's weird. Sometimes I just dream about shapes and colors, like the Fantasia film you know but I always dream about something. Brain is always working, even when you sleep so I think probably you forget about what you dream on the next day.

My fiance doesn't dream a lot and she's not bothered by it. The times she does dream they are usually hilarious and vivid xD I on the other hand tend to dream every night, while rarely /not/ dreaming. It's probably just the makeup of everyone's brain being different. In extreme cases no dreams can mean a mental disorder, but normally you or someone would notice a behavior change if that were the case. xD

Everybody dreams, but not everybody remembers them.Maybe you have yous best, deepest sleep just before waking up,and that is the reason.I know that sometimes I dream, but the instant that I wake up.it is gome.Sometimes I only have this left over feeling and I could tell if the dream was pleasant, happy, sad, distressing, etc. Very seldom do I remember a dream.

Some say that when your brain is pretty much occupied or relax that's the time you will have a dream. As for me, I don't usually dream but that doesn't bother me a lot. As long as I am alive and I am able to wake up everyday, I am okay, I thank God for that.

i think dream is something you can be stimulated.
maybe you have to thinking about something that you really want to dream before sleep or everyday.
but sometime you can get a dream when you are in sick and tired, the dreams are nightmare mostly.
i usually get a dream when i thinking about something so hard.
till i bring it to my dream.
hehehe..
i hope you will get dream soon and i hope that will be a beautiful dream okay.
cheers.
