What Movie Genres you love?

So, What movie genres do you love/prefer to watch? my friends and i are preparing for a party this christmas, our theme is movies and we all have to be wearing costumes for different genres.
What genre do you think is best for parties? Horror is not included in the option because we thought we just had it on halloween. :D
So there is action and adventure, fantasy, animation, western movies, musical.. which do you think is best and which one do you prefer if you were to pick only one?

I used to love watching gory horror. Yes, I am that weird. But lately, I don't fancy it that much as they give me nightmares.
That must be "sign of aging". Now I prefer to watch romantic and sci-fi.

Hehe... oh i sure hope not. But Me and my mom loves watching suspense and horror movies too. But just recently we have sort of given up watching them.. well for a more spiritual reason, perhaps.. and yeah i guess it does include the age thing! hahah

When I was younger I do lean on the horror genre when watching movies. I especially love it when watching with fellow kids cause then I can see how horrified they are and it gives me the thrills- I am so weird that way. I show them that it doesn't affect me at all while I'm picking on them for being such a "scaredy cat".
Now the joke is on me cause I can't seem to finish a horror movie without getting the chills!

Usually I will watch various kinds of movies, but I especially like watching science fiction movies. As the imagination is creative and I'd like to see it. And usually these movies will have nice special effects and I love it.

Genres that i do love to prefer is sci-fic movies. It creates unusual feeling of amazement and satisfaction, with all the high end technology i could never imagine. Some other movies can be predicted at the end and i can say i already meet that kind of stories along. But this kind of sci-fic creates an additional information of what a human can do and can have for me. Different angles and different views i can say a combination of science and fiction which sometimes looks so realistic.

That is so awesome!
When my kids were teens on Halloween after Trick or treating was finished, they all come to my house. We decided to act out the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
We moved the livingroom furniture to the diningroom and had the whole room to view the movie and act out. It was AWESOME!
And if they were not in a costume they were not allowed in the house that was the fun rule!

I prefer science fiction that tackles about virus or strain which irradicates the population of t5he world. I love how those scientist and experts find ways to defy the fututre of mankind. It is just amazing how people think during crisis. It is very thrilling and I love to watch it. I can probably watch up to 5 movies of that kind provided I have the time.

My favorite film genres are fantasy, mystery suspense, action adventure, and animated. I think the best genres for a party are animated or comedy.

I would recommend you with Horror, Scifi, Action, Thrill, Comedy, or Love. Its quite cool to discuss the movie with friends.
