Just early this day as i watch television with an advestisement a tear fall down from my eye...two siblings were there they push carts to find bottle, plastics and the like to sell...one wear a uniform and an old pair of a shoe. The other one is wearing a sando(sleeveless shirt) and a slipper. They came always to a store and there they change clothes after one of them finished school...they have a routine to change clothes for only one pair of uniform, socks and shoes at that store... I was moved by their courage. A courage to finished their education no matter what the circumstances is... I feel blessed that during my time of studying even though i work at the school i never experience to give my school uniform to my sis just to be in school...what a blessed life i have... :) For you how blessed you are during your time? Did you experience to share a pair of uniform, socks, and a shoe to your siblings to finished school?

No I don't think so. As you said, there are still some people who are most deserving to go for school but they can't due to money matters, even they are excel in all the fields but they are helpless, we should be supporting them at any means.

That's very sad but encouraging story mm.Hopefully with their situation ,they achieve what they wanted in their life,to finish their study. And hopefully , may those who have kind hearts and enough money help them to go to school. I never experienced switching uniforms with my brothers by i remember my older cousins lending me their old uniforms since i went to same school as them.

I am very blessed to have a good life because I was fortunate enough to have a loving family that has helped me every step of the way. It is very sad to see many people without enough money for uniforms and shoes and it is also very sad to see others that are homeless and without families to support them. This is why that when I get a chance, I give back to my community to show my love and support.

I admire the courage of the two siblings just to go to school. I believe education is one way to stop poverty. Though I don't experience giving my school uniform to my siblings but for me to finishing school it took a lot of hard work especially with regards to financial matters. I am thankful to my parents for always making a way just for us to finish school.

Yup it true that education is a way, because not all who did not study makes it to top. Financial is the first thing that is required to a fulfill study. It's good that your parents give all that you need during your schooling.

This story that you narrated is really a very humbling and sad story indeed. I admire the determination of the two siblings to be able to go to school, even if it means alternately using a uniform and a pair of shoes. I am very thankful that God gave us a father who provided well for us 5 siblings (all girls)from our elementary until we graduated. Now, our father is already old and retired and in one way or another we return his goodness for being a good provider.
