Attorney Topacio put his "ball" at stake if the Arroyo's will not go back to the Philippines to face the trial.
In your opinion, do you think the Arroyo's will go back to the Philippines to face the trial if the government permit them to leave the country?

Well for now even that dare would hold in court. I think for now it seems like since SC had given them the chance to leave they would take advantage of that. I am not in favor of them leaving the country but since it is the SC decision to allow them I think as private citizen I could not do anything. The admin's position of stopping them from leaving cannot work unless they can file cases against them so they can be stopped from leaving the country.

Well that is another issue in here. But true enough that the issue on their rather fast decision on the case was a bit questionable. I think that since majority of the judges appointed are GMA appointees you can easily point that they will return the favor.

The problem with this is that the persons who are responsible to materialize the departure of the Arroyo;s were the Supreme Court, and we cannot deny the fact they are the so-called midnight appointee.

I think the majority of the justices in our Supreme Court are Arroyo-appointed, and until the term of these justices hasn't expired yet, then I guess the Arroyos will still come back. They'd feel a bit secure knowing that the highest court in the land are theirs.

Of course she will! She will do this because she is a woman of honor!
To be honest, i personally get hurt hearing about all these claims that she wont come back and that her ailment is just a scapegoat. GMA happens to be my aunt! She is a brilliant, responsible and hardworking woman.

Not really, not be judgmental, but Arroyo did break her promises before and even said sorry publicly- so it is now hard to trust anything they say. Even the President offered to pay for the expenses if they send a foreign doctor here- and they refused..So I think they just want to get out of the country and to escape the case..

I don't think so. They are only making excuses so that they will not face the trial. They are only showing us that they are guilty. They are the big crocodiles of this country. Once they leave, I'm sure they will be vanished just like what happened to Romana.
