my avast antivirus work since 4 days ago

Avast is good, free and complete antivirus. I like Avast version 4. For version 5, somehow they remove some of useful feature such as IP blocking. It also give some false warning. Furthermore it is heavier than the 4th version. The best feature, it include such firewall, so we can be sure for the safety and security. Currently in my PC I did not use Avast. But in my old laptop I still use it (4th version).

i use avast in my workplace. it better cause it lihgt, free, and you can update with free too. it enough strong antivirus.

I am using the free personal use of Avast on my notebook. It's good enough for something free. I used to use AVG free but not anymore since it's getting more and more heavy. So the free Avast is good enough. But if you want more security and more sophisticated features from an AntiVirus, better get the full version one.

That's good for u. That's one reason why some good quality antivirus requires us to pay for their premium service. I'm glad to be using the basic antivirus and have no intention of upgrading for more. Is avast antivirus for free as well? Whatever i have in my com, are mostly free downloadable softwares. It would be good to have multiple protection if u have all the important documents in it, if not like mine, just a simple one will do.

I also like avast anti virus.a It really detects viruses. I find it very effective. I feel more secured with avast than any other anti virus software.

At fist i used avast and now i turned to avg. I think both of them are good both of them removes or heals a lot of viruses from my computer. The only problem it needs fast updates per weeks. I think you antivirus is not working because of virus. Viruses have the ability to stop the working of any software. I think a very harm virus har entered into your computer.

i think avast is ok as antivirus software perosnally i prefer avg but even avast should result affordable as pc security!!

I have downloaded avast many times when I needed an antivirus program on my computer. That one came highly recommended to me when I was vacationing in Thailand and I did use it various times. It did find things that others did not. I hope it continues to do well for you.

For a free antivirus, I love Avast. It works very well for me. I also use Advanced System Care 4, which is also free at CNET.com. It cleans out alot of junk which makes your system run faster. Together, they are wonderful. Of course they all want you to upgrade but I find the free version of both works very well.

My paid subscription to avast ran out this week and I changed to AVG as avast wanted £39.00 that was not affordable. To my surprise AVG found a virus right away and I put it in the vault.
