We do nothing and only criticize.

We often raise a hue and cry over a burning issue of the day over a cup of tea with our friends and colleagues but never put any collective effort from our end to solve that issue. We even do not try to organize ourselves to draw the attention of the authority that can solve the problem. Rather what we do; we only expect action from the competent authority and criticize them in case of failure to do so? Do you think it justified on our part?

Hi DoctorDidi, To criticize alone is pointless and we need to do more. I think that the majority are guilty of just plain criticizing and leaving it to that. It would be better to join a movement and make our voices heard. I am a supporter of non-violence and feel it is the only way to bring about change. Blessings.

One reason is that we are not organized but most important point is that we think that others will do it and we will only enjoy the benefit.

Your guess is fairly general. What you mean exactly? Political issues? Because in that case the only thing that an average person can do to demonstrate. But in this case a lot of people are needed to achieve success.

Not only political but also any issue which may be political as well as non-political. Our general tendency is to avail the benefit of the result but not to spare any time to make it effective.

If these authorities were actually competent then we wouldn't feel a need to criticize them. We can't do much while idiots are in office except to try perhaps to get people to vote differently next time. I think we have the right to criticize and if we know of a way to change things we should expound on that as well.

Relying on those who are in authority to do anything is just asking for failure on our part. We cannot really sit back all of the time and wait for others to fix the problems of the world for us. Especially in a competent manner. By relying on a lot of people to fix the problem other than yourself, it is just going to make things far worse, before they become better.
I think that in many ways, it is just much easier to complain about a lot of the time. Then to take action. Yet by not taking action, there are more failures and many more things to complain about. Then by not doing anything, there are more things to complain about. There are just times where it is a never ending, vicious cycle. You can't rely on people to do things, you got to really do it for yourself.

I think people in general need to have something to complain about. When it comes to issues we see on the news, we are all apt to criticize and complain. But I also think that deep down we feel powerless over some of these issues, especially when it comes to politics. You're right, we could take some sort of action to solve these things. You bring up a good point here.

that is a fact of life my friend.it is always easy to talk and talk but doing nothing in our end.this is truly a reflection of us as thinkers rather than that of being movers.besides, it is easy to talk than to act because it has lesser liability and accountability. no wonder we progress slowly.

I think people in all over the world do the same. The people always critize everything without finding their mistakes. In our goverment brings new ideas for the poor ie, rice at two rs plan. When this law was implemented the other government(opposition) said that we was able to give the same rice at one rs. What a goverment?
Everybody knows well how to critise and do not know how to encourage.
