James Bond is one of the most known movie character of all time. He is the star of the longest movie franchise ever. Are you a James Bond fan? Which movie is your favorite and what do you like about Bond. Have you ever met a James Bond type person in real life?

Yes, I'm a big fan and have seen all the Bond movies. The early Sean Connery flicks were the best. They featured witty characterizations and fun, suspenseful adventure plots. The latter films, particularly with Pierce Brosnan, had too much high-tech over-the top razzle dazzle faced-paced story lines that lacked substance. Unquestionably, "Goldfinger" was the best of the bunch. Still looking for my real-life Bond hero. He might be inside me.

I love James Bond. my favorite is Roger Moore. He played Bond with a light touch. It was like he was in on the gag and he was there to enjoy every femme fatale and gadget. And he had some cool toys. One of my favorites is the car/sub in The Spy Who Loved Me! It is brilliant. And he got to say the cheekiest lines! That is what I miss with today's Bond. He has no sense of humor!

Serious and Boring. I saw casino Royale and felt like I Should have seen a Mission Impossible instead. At least with Mission , you get Tom and his Dry wit.

yes..i agree.during Roger moore time.. he is very "The secret agent man" type.. really cool and humorous . but still packed his action right!
Casino royale ..well..it stick to the original rough ,serious,no mercy as the novel by Ian Fleming intended..just like early Sean Connery stuff..

No, I haven't met any James Bond type of person but I think there are in real life. I'm also a fan of Bond films and I love the realistic way how directors make those films and they really well funded. Before the action scenes are very natural but today because of newer technology some action are fast paced. I'm amazed if it can really be done in actual situation or it's just camera trick but still many loves watching this films. The best Bond for me is Sean Connery although I like Moore too of his wittiness.

Yes, I am! Though more of the Bond movies I watched from the late seventies to mid eighties, the last one I watched was Die Another Day starring Pierce Brosnan and Halle Berry.
Bond movies are like able because of the fanciful & fascinating action, gadgets & gizmos and music. More than the story line, James Bond movies portray fanciful images of a strong & intelligent yet flamboyant personality watching which one vicariously fantasizes some redemption of esteem. .
If there were a bond in real life, perhaps the screen bonds would go out of job. . The real life ones might be a mockery, however hard tried.

I like the old James Bond movies with Sean Connery. My choice Goldfinger with the amazing talented Shirley Eaton. If you haven't seen this movie, then certainly watch it. She retired from acting many years ago, but did play many roles.

I was never a James Bond fan although I saw all the movies when they came out. I didn`t even think that Shawn Connery was so hot way back then and I think the man has aged to perfection now. Yesterday I went to see the latest James Bond film. It was the worst plot of all of them. The "bad guy" was just bad. THere was no real motive behind his actions to give the movie a small amount of credibility. The stunt work and the special effects are all I would recomend about this film.

yes..im a james bond fan..i have watched all 23 films(including Never say Never again), and cant wait for Skyfall"
my fav James Bond film is "License to Kill" i love because Timothy Dalton looks more gritty..and dont look like a whimp like Brosnan or something..this movie he is not a secret agent..because his license(to kill) is suspended, but he still go on fight to set up for justice for himself. The lousiest bond film i have ever seen is "Day another die" ... an invisible car??? what the F...! why not make James invisible..that wouldve been easier..
anyway.. all good!
no..i never met any James Bond type guy.. and i dont wanna.

No I am not a fan.
Already years ago, as I had to watch these movies with an uncle, I fall asleep. It's not my kind of movie. The only thing I can remember is a guy I don't like and half naked women. I never understood what they added to the story or the kind of job he had.
So I asscociate James Bond still with very boring.
A type like him, well the kind of type he is in my eyes, I did met and they are not the kind of people I like or the kind of men I would ever fall for.

Yes, but I will never tell.
There is something about Gold Finger. I have a respect for Sean Connery as an actor. The movie was somehow strangely a mix of evil and good, maybe because.. wasn’t Goldfinger a German and Bond well just an old rival thing going on. The gold girl gave me chills and the scene where Bond is on the cutting table desperately calling out, what do you want? That line “I want you to die” out of Goldfinger was blood curdling. Plus I read the book and in it his quick mind came up with a plan that would save his life. Insight doubt.
Roger Moore is just a cutie in all his films.

Don't make big those kind of characters. I think those kinds of films are just for make people run away form real life. You live in the movie when you watch that kind of movie. I am fan of Jason Born (Matt Damon). However, I don't believe that there is a man like Jason Born in real life.

oh, dear! i have a collection of all james bond movies. watching them gives me a journey of both film making technology and the irresistible womanizer whose name is "bond - james bond". am i that big of a fan? probably more of curiosity type. why the franchise runs that long even if they are not the biggest hits? and really, for somebody like me who wants a man to fantasize, it would be the james bond character who like martini, shaken and not stirred with his women. he was married once though, and he had one great love i think but those are two different women in his life.
i also like strong women characters so the bond-movie that got a mark from me has the lines "I could have given you the world" and he replied "the world is not enough". that's the movie i think that displayed the power of a woman besides being "bond's women" in the movie.

I like James Bond, I don't think I watched all of them but I got to see some of the old one with that guy before Sean Connery that also played in The Saint. I liked the one's Connery played in, even Brosnan.
The last guy, Daniel Craig I think is really not a James Bond type of actor. I mean he kind of lack something the others had.
I've never met a Bond person in real life :).

Aside from the first Craig Daniels' Bond movie, I've never watched any Bond movies. He's too much of a womanizer, i hate how he treats women in general, and if not for all the gadgets and fast cars, he wouldn't have been able to complete his missions. In my opinion, of cos ^^
