Does anyone ever find themselves browsing Craigslist?

In the recent week or two I have developed a habit of checking Craigslist on a daily basis. I first started out looking at local events and groups, then found my way towards the personals.
Now to ease some worries of my friends on here, I would never ever reply to a listing on there. I live in a very small area where everyone knows everyone else and I think I would be embarrassed if it was someone I knew.
But anyway, some of the things in the personals section are so bizarre. I thought I lived in a quiet, little bible belt city, but that isn't how it would seem if you just browsed through it. People have even posted derogatory things in the strictly platonic section, so I also worry about the education system.
Has anyone ever answered a Craigslist ad? If so what was your experience with it. If you haven't before, would you consider it?

I've sold things through craigslist, but never answered an add. I check it often too, looking for free or cheap items I might need. Everything I see that i want ends up eing to far out of my way, though.

Would you say people are pretty legit about buying things? I've thought about putting a few things on there, but I wouldn't want to waste my time.

I do browse through craigslist almost on a daily basis. I have been able to find my apartment on craigslist, we searched and researched the people saying they had a place to rent and found a great house.
