I read an article via the net and it said that Indians are not very interested in iPhone. Is it true? Since there are many Mylotters who come from India, perhaps I can know the truth here.

Maybe the iPhone doesn't tally with their cultural norms and values somewhere. In fact, I don't know what the strong points of the iphone are .

Well, being an indian i can surely say not many people like the iphone because a) it's costly compared to other smart phones in india B)It's over hyped considering many of the needed functions are not there ex. Bluetooth etc. People do like the iphone and many do buy it here but buying some product for the sake of brand name is not what many people follow here.

Hi... I'm an Indian.. I am not interested in iPhone because it doesn't have a hard keyboard... Its keys are on the screen.. And I can't use them... :-(...
A friend of mine worked 150 extra hours to purchase iPhone 4... Many of them love this phone, but find it expensive to buy...

Yes, I have lots of Indian friends, and only one of them has iPhone. Most of them likes Blackberry better so they can use the Blackberry messenger. I personally like iPhone because I love multimedia. So I guess it really depends on the person.

Yes youless you heard it right that Indians dont like Iphone, and thats because its too expensive ,you can buy a galaxy s2 for a cheaper price than Iphone with lots of other features. Secondly why would any one buy a 4G phone and use it in 3G network as 4G network is not available in India.
