Oh, yes, I am affected by it all the time here in the UK, where it can be dark and very grim. I feel like a walking barometer on windy, stormy days and often have a headache caused by the elctromagnetism in the air. I suffer from what is termed Seasonal Affected Disorder during our long, dark winters but on bright sunny days I just feel bright and sunny inside! I use a light-box to trigger the 'Happy Chemicals' in my brain on the dark days that can make me depressed.
Roll on the summer!

there's afinding that talks about how negative air ionizers also help improving the symptoms of SAD. i just wonder how one would manage to get the suggested dose though, :P

Weather plays an important role in our mood. In my country we have winter season we the people have a good time here because of winter season we could play badminton in early morning. I think it is very nice to play during cold days. I love it and my mood changes in rainy seasons because during season we have heavy rain fall so I do not use to come out of my home and I feel bored while sitting in my house

Yes the weather does effect my moods most of the time. I am really happy when it rains here! When it is in the triple digit heats here I am not very happy but if I have to go out I make sure I do it early before the sun is about to kill everything in site! NO Joke!! I don't really care for cold weather too much at all! I hate having to put multiple layers of clothes on that irritaTes me so bad! I like a day where I can wear my shorts and a tank top and flip flops and not have to worry about the sun frying me to a crisp! he he he L.O.;L I like the summer but only if i can be at the pool all day long without worrying about the stupid sun cooking me. he he L.O.L.

to me it is not.
even the rain I'm happy because my mood is not dependent on time and people who are around me.
I always find a way to have fun despite the weather t.
I am certain that such a person can spoil the mood.
nice day!

When it rain it pours and I just want to stay in bed snuggly and warm. Unless its a sun shower when the sun is peeping out of the cloud and the rain is slight, I can deal with that. When it is dark and thundering and pouring it's a sign for me to stay in unless of emergency. The sun has the power to draw me outside. Even on days when Im not in a great mood the sun is an instant relief. It's something to do with the light and warmth I believe. The snow I don't care too much for cold weather it's a pretty sight but too cooold!! I like it hot and by the beach not hot driving without air conditioner, thats the worst summer.

It does affect me somehow. When it's sunny, I feel alive and kicking. But please, not too sunny because I get irritated when it is too hot. When it is raining, I usually become relaxed and peaceful. I sometimes get emotional though. I even told myself on an emotional rainy day that I wanted to be a rain drop because when they fall, they are never alone. I was feeling lonely at that time anyway. I love rainy days but please minus the strong lightning and thunder because I'm afraid of those. A little lightning makes me feel gothic sometimes. ^_^
