Do you think cats have healing abilities? I
have read many times that people think they
do. Also, how soothing it is to pet animals
and how relaxing it is? I know I really feel
loved when I am down or not feeling well and
my kitty tunes in on it and comes to be with me.
She always seems to know when I need her. She
can't stand to hear me cry. It really puts her
on edge. You can just see the sense of bewilderment
in her face. Like What can I do? Tell me your stories?

On the contrary my experience with cats shows they are no healers. In fact a cat is the very reason why sister had asthma. She was fond of cats when she was young and for that she contacted asthma. Since then cats have been banned from our home. It is a good thing that when my sister reached the age of 7 she was healed.

I am not sure if cats have the ability to heal but based on what I experience my cat knows when I am not okay, not that because i have illness but they knows when I am not feeling okay with problems I have. They know if I am sad, some of my cats join me when I sleep whenever I am not okay. I am sometimes moody, when I am stress they usually avoid me because i get angry easily but when they see me looking sad, almost not talking they go near me and looking at me and it seems they are asking question like what is happening on me. I also observed when someone from the family is ill, my cats do sacrifice like one of the kitten will get die and one of the family will be healed. It seems they are saving us from getting ill or making it severe. It seems they love their owners very much that they are willing to sacrifice everything.

My former roommate and I used to have a cat that would get upset when she cried. One time she was crying and Briar couldn't get her to stop so she turned around and hissed at me, I guess thinking that if she wasn't stopping it must be my fault.

A cat or dog could make you feel better. The can tell the changes in you, and if you are sad they can tell. If nothing else, it makes you feel better that another living thing, part of the family for most people is concerned. It can be helpful just to have something to hold or pet.

Animals are true healers! That's why many old people have pets when their partners have passed away. I know an old lady up the street and she always walks her dog, her dog offers her comfort and it barks at anyone who comes near her just in case someone might attempt to hurt her. I heard on the radio before that animals can really heal you emotionally when you're a little down. They can recognize when you change moods. Animals have such a cool ability. The thing with animals is that they're not humans, they don't talk back and cause you more misery. Sometimes, it's just silent company is all you need to feel better again and pets are the best at that. That's why pets make such good friends and it really hurts when they pass away. All pets are different and express their care in different ways. We should appreciate the pets we have.

yes cats are natural healers. they seem to be unaware of their special powers or abilities but we as humans tend to notice it by ways of cuddling them and playing with them. we have had about a hunred cats most of them were all gone away. and they always made us happier, whenever i feel blue i feel comforted inside whenever i hold them. they seem to be praying secretly to the heavens to make us their masters well.

Both Dogs and Cats tune in to our body language and notice when it changes. We know that certian dogs can smell changes in our bodies and find cancer. Can animals heal us, I would say no more then any loving concern can help. I have had cats that would not leave me when I was ill and it certianly was a great comfort, also a big reason to get well so that I could care for them.
