Well I think a broken iphone is for many an emergency.
At least that is what I read over here over and over again if people write that a cellphone belongs to basic need like food and water.

Guy got what he deserved... Interesting you brought this up... I do remember about a woman calling 911 on thanksgiving night because she burnt the turkey & she didn't know where to go get another one... She said she had a large family coming over & she didn't know what to do... I personally heard that story from someone else so I'm not sure how true that is but just goes to show ya how irritating people can be...

Oh that is terrible, he should know better, some years ago I worked on the emergence board in a telephone exchange, and it was amazing what we had to put up with we had to tally all calles and in an hour we would always get anywhere from 100 to 330 calls and maybe only two or three of those would be genuine, it was a very stressful job and these people just don't know how dangerous it is to tie up those line, all seconds cound when it comes to fire, police and anbulance calls.

I don't know what's wrong with some of these people. That reminds me of the story of the person who called 911 from a drive through because they got her order wrong.

Thats about as good as a local here who went to a fast food place and did not get her burger fixed right so she dialed 911. Guess who went to jail and got booked? Not the restaurant!

Ok this is ridiculous there is no reason for him to have held up the lines for emergencies over a broken iphone.
