Amy Lee

i love Amy lee! She is an amazing vocalist and never fails to impress me. The first song I ever listened too was "my immortal" and i still have it on my ipod and play it alot! probably too much :) The collaboration she done with Seether "broken" works so well showing that she can be a great multi-talented artist in any form of genre :)

Evanescence had an amazing first album it had Immortal, My last breath and Bring me life along with various others, Open door had Lithium has the same type of haunting melody that is quite beautiful. I still haven't gotten the new album Evanescence, maybe Christmas, but I think What you want is a definite move away from the more haunting ballads to a more hard core sound it is still a good song. I hope they continue do well and keep on with their music, Amy Lee has a beautiful voice, but since Ben Moody left Evanescence has changed not only it's style but also it's type of music, which is good because it prevents what happens to some bands that stay the same for years with songs that blend into each other.
