i am guilty of comparing my situation to other people. how more lucky they are than me. how i wish that i would be in their place. but i do wonder if they count their selves lucky also or if they are also guilty of feeling not so lucky in life or not being as lucky as other people. but i do hope i will have a change in situation and be more happy in life.

All men are created equal. No one is better than anybody else. We each have our own assets, along with our liabilities. Let's be grateful for the good things that we have and use these for the good of ourselves, our loved ones and the people around us. Let's find ways and means to improve on our shortcomings. Nothing is impossible.Good luck to you, my friend. "Always remember to forget the things that make you sad, but never forget to remember the things that make you glad."

it is very rare that I compare myself to others. I respect my self as much as I respect the others. I never felt inferior to anyone because I always consider myself unique. There are things that I can do that others cant and vice versa. People should start to understand that they were not created in a similar manner. They are uniquely crafted thus different from one another.

I often do. I've become a very insecure person because of some events that have happened in my life. All of these unfortunate event caused me to become so insecure that I instantly compare myself to other people and look for flaws in them inside my mind so I would feel less insecure. It's a bad habit but I'm not like that before.

when I was younger, I tend to compare myself with others. But now, I am pretty much happy and not comparing myself with others. I think I'm already an wisdom endowed individual. But looking back, I too am guilty of comparing myself with others. We are unique and we took our own destiny a path that nobody can walk on but our very own self.

Once a week is needed for everyman to reflect. Not necessarily compare with other. I did that and look at myself, what have I got for now, and have I get nearer to the goal? Why other people can do better? That is my common question in seeking the light path.

I do it sometimes. But nowadays I have found this new way which stops me from doing so. Whenever I compare myself of anyone and find myself jealous of them, I immediately put myself into their shoes. This way I get to see all the positive and negative points for them. I always come to an conclusion that no one has everything in the world. So I make my peace knowing that I dont want to be anyone else.

Often, I always find myself pitying my situation. Iknow it's wrong, but somehow, I am driven to work more and sacrifice so that someday, somehow, I can also reach the top.

I like these verses of Eclesistes 6 that talk about people that we see and think that are happy for all their properity but they don't the ability to enjoy their possesions. Yes sometimes I think about how good live the others but then I realize that we have to see and enjoy the blesse that we already have, hope, pray and wait for those that will come, and appreciate what we have and understand that we always can be worst so enjoy and be happy. Ecclesiastes 6 1 I have seen another evil under the sun, and it weighs heavily on mankind: 2 God gives some people wealth, possessions and honor, so that they lack nothing their hearts desire, but God does not grant them the ability to enjoy them, and strangers enjoy them instead. This is meaningless, a grievous evil. 3 A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not receive proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he. 4 It comes without meaning, it departs in darkness, and in darkness its name is shrouded. 5 Though it never saw the sun or knew anything, it has more rest than does that man— 6 even if he lives a thousand years twice over but fails to enjoy his prosperity. Do not all go to the same place?

Oh I am just like you, I envy people quite easily and I got pretty jealous. My friends have things or do things which I wish I could do too. I hate it when my friends boast about something and they rub it in my face. It makes e feel really depressed and I simply just brush the idea off by trying to get what my friends got in the future someday. I simply just hope to get me through. I wonder if my friends feel unlucky sometimes. I have friends who aren't lucky but they seem pretty happy and appreciate what others have but I have no idea what they truly feel inside though For my fortunate friends, sometimes I hear them boasting about wanting more or wanting to get something. They have like everything already but they just want more. I guess once you achieve what you always wanted, you always just want more the more successful you are

I don't. I did that years ago to tell myself each time there are always other who have it worser as me. But thinking this way is not a way to encourage yourself to work harder to get more, to reach for more or to fight for a better life.

i don't compare myself to others..i just appreciate them..because i know that wherever i am right now, luckily or unluckily, i'm the one put myself here..and if i want to change where i am right now, it depends on what i do today to change my tomorrow..

Hotsummer, I never compare my self to other to justify my worth or standings in the world. I now that there are so many people who are cuter, smaller, taller, shorter, more money than me, etc. you get the point I hope...But none of that compares to the person I am.. .All we can do is just be ourselves do the right thing, love and repect others and try to be the best person we can be. comparing yourselves to other will most likely make you come up short when you really are a lot more fortunate than u really realize..count your blessings....lol

Well it comes down to a 50/50! I compare myself to others a lot of the time because I love to have nice things that exceed others' nice things but lately this hasn't really been the case sine my sums are very much depleted. And I like to be similar or relative to the actions, and accomplishments of my friends because I want to be able to fit in, so I compare their actions and motives. When I'm feeling self-confident I don't compare myself to others because at that point and time, I have a sufficient amount of self esteem and I've convinced myself that I have all I need to be happy! :)

I consider, comparing our self to others is very good thing. When we are a total failure we can compare our personality with others so that we may get some idea about the success of others.
