I just saw on the news some clips of maids abusing the kids they are looking after. It was really heart wrenching- the way they treated the kids like animals and held them like dolls. Maids like these should be sent to prison.. It is really scary how you are not even sure that you and your kids are safe even at home.. Even a background check is not enough since they can easily fake it..

that is really bad.in what country does the maid come from?it is so sad to hear that news.is she a Filipina?i bet not.I hope she is not Filipina.
we make our houses as fit as possible to consider it a home but how can we call it a home if bad maids continue to lurk in each of our houses?

Well, most of the nannies and house helpers doing these are caught on videos which their employers have installed without the knowledge of the hired helpers. And most of those who did this are from Asia. I just hope too that our OFW women have not done this. These days it's really hard to trust anybody especially if it concern our children.

Yeah, because Filipinos are well known for their ability to adjust not to mention their loyalty to their employers.

this is probably one of the reasons why many foreign families such as those in the United states do not entrust their children to nannies. on the other hand, there are also foreign families who want nannies to take care of their young just like in United Kingdom. what is amazing that is that they prefer Filipino nannies.

I did saw it from youtube and those people must be thrown to prison.
They are being paid well to take care for those kids and what are they doing.
I saw one in youtube where the nanny is holding the baby upside down while picking all the mess
yes, holding it like a rug doll

Yeah, their place is behind bars. Are these baby sitters don't have child of their own or baby sister. They must not do such a thing if they don't want to do it on their own child. They are paid for the job so the best they can do is make the best of it.

I have sen a bit of these clips too and I was really angry while watching and hope they catch the maids who harmed those poor kids. there was also a maid who stole from her boss, even took the "safe" since she can't open it. GOod thing she was caught- said she needed money. She could have asked for an advance instead of stealing..

It's really hard to trust people these days, sometimes even close relatives of our did the same thing. The sad thing is we thought they would be thankful we hired them. And in our mind we have done good deed by hiring them to earn for themselves.

That's true stanley,You cant really trust everybody.
We used to have houselp here in our house and a nanny for my daughter, but believe it or not,in 6 years we hired 14 and only one last for a year, almost everybody is not trustworthy.
and now i am the only one to do all those chores :-( just to secure that my daughter is taken care of. Hard bit of a work but i can take it.its more safe than having abusive househelp.

Since you have tried it before so you knew the risks of letting other people look after your child when your not at home. Imagine 14 housemaids in 6 years, that's a lot and I guess some are even too young to do the household chores.
It's good you have decided to take care of your own child, I know it's a sacrifice especially if you also have a job to attend to. But at least your sure that your child won't be abused or neglected and it's also a good bonding moment of mother and child.

Sorry to hear about your job but I knew you did the right thing. Caring and attending for your daughter's needs is the best rather than having other people do it for you. Thanks for your time my friend.

Yes, those maids should be put into jail. What they after is just money. That's what all they want. They don't really care for kids entrusted to them.

Yes, they don't care about their jobs. They want to earn quick money to the expense of their unknowing employers. Once they have gain the trust of their employers then that's the time they will do their ill motives. Also some of these hired helpers are members of syndicates victimizing affluent families.
I don't know what's happening to these people, they want to earn fast money the illegal way. Thanks for your time my friend.

Yeah, it's really hard to find good house helps these days. There are syndicates who operates recruitment agencies that provides house helpers to homes who needs them pretending to be legal like other legitimate agencies. And there are legitimate agencies too who based their acceptance on the data an applicant have given them which can easily be faked. So we must really be careful in hiring someone especially if we took them from recruitment agencies.
