Nowadays, is not hard to communicate since we are having lots of means to it. You can use computer (access it with internet connection),you can use it to communicate with love ones, and mostly using cellular phones, the easiest way to use. But the question is, is it really enough to just rely on those high technology means of communication? I think TIME really matters, too. How would you maintain your good communication with your loved ones?

communication thru internet and computer can help you minimize your sadness when you miss someone but for me there is a big difference not just in situation but also in emotion when you are talking infront of your love one..

it is not too hard to communicate these days, technology supports people and it supports the families and the relationships that we have.. it is just a matter of how we people utilise what we have... Sometimes its just us, we have got to know hot to make time for our loved ones, right?

I have assessed all forms of communications, either through phones (landlines), mobile SMS, online social networks, IM or YM, slow mails, and the likes. As far as I know, these devices assist us to keep in touch with our loved ones but the best form of communication is that we get to talk personally and face to face with the other person. I uses the devices to set schedules or meetings with them. But talking for a long period of time on the phone or even with a web cam, I don't find satisfaction from it. The way to maintain communication with my love ones, I set a day where I can go out with my family or spend it at home with them. This way, we created a stronger bond. Have a great day ahead of you!

Well, you are indeed a beautiful person. You really make enough time for your family and don't rely on gadgets alone to continue communication.

I go online almost everyday to say hello to my family away, and call my mom by phone to see how is she doing I call my sister too, it is about to find the way and show your love and interest to your relatives, may be by an email, letter, phone, fax, video call,or meeting them in a place but keep the communication is impotant.

Well since my family is rather close as far as distance, I usually communicate with them, just using my phone. Its very seldom, that I use the internet or a social network to communicate with them because they're not really literate with computers and the internet but they all know how to talk about anything for a long time on the phone. Personally, I would rather contact on email or social networking because its more convenient for me. I can type alot of my ideas into a text field but I'm not very good at talking on the phone and I don't really like to talk on the phone!

I think it is fair enough to rely on these things.Atleast we keep in touch with our social life.In todays world we hardly have time to meet in person...atleast "Hi" over a sms reminds the other person that we remember them and a response back makes us happy.

I think that keeping in touch with family is good and very important no matter how you do it. Of course, if I can't be with my family, then I keep in touch normally by phone, although we have used webcams as well. The best way, though, is always in person, because you can hug them and kiss them and have that physical contact that is important in these types of relationships.

Unless separated by distance I prefer to do it face to face. Although technology can be used as a tool and very handy, I think the best way to use it is when the need arises. We can overuse it when it is not really needed and our habits are maybe to blame for this. It is good to think about this - excellent discussion.

communication is important to keep a long distance relationship works so as the time, because both communication and time work together to keep the relationship stronger, that's what me and my boyfriend always keep in mind. We are both busy but we both make sure to find way to chat even at least twice a week.
