Is there a way not to experience Mid-life crisis?

Midlife crisis is usually associated with unhappiness, imbalances and emotional issues or depression. I am now in the late 30's and I feel like I am going through a stage in my life where I wanted to start anew. I don't know if I am going through midlife crisis. But I hope I will not experience depression. Are there anyone here who hasn't gone through midlife crisis?

Oh my dear. I don't know if you are going through a crisis now or not, but I want to tell you that you might want to see your doctor. You're very young to be starting menopause, but it is not entirely impossible. I am 45 and on hormone replacement therapy I didn't really want to do this, but the depression was threatening to engulf me. Combined that with night sweats, insomnia (I unfortunately still suffer from this, as you can see since it's almost 2 a.m. where I am) hot flashes, and violent mood swings, and I was unbearable to my family.
I wish you all the luck and will say a prayer for you tonight.
