nice movies anyone?

hello scheen the most recent film i watched was part of the recent spanish film festival shown at greenbelt. anyhows, the title is "Gordos" imbd describes is as: "...a comedy about life's excesses and deficiencies; about insecurities, phobias, obsessions, traumas, mistakes, fears, blame, hopes, and challenges, concessions, goals, relationships, love, health, family...about survival in the widest and "largest" sense of the word." its the type of film i like the best: makes you laugh enough that you dont get dragged down by the heaviness of the more serious themes and issues the characters are dealing with but still makes you think and feel for the characters for something asian, try Sympathy for Lady Vengeance (crunchyroll and mysoju probably have this); i think of it as a parody/mystery/thriller happy watching! :)

Have you tried watching Korean films or Korean movies? If yes, or if you want to try try this korean movie titled "My Little Bride" its a cute story of couple.

The King's Speech is a good movie. It won the 83rd Academy award for best picture. Its a story based on the life of King George VI.

I suggest you to watch religious program or korean drama. I always watch korean drama on TV GMA7 and or in Arirang channel. Religious program is also good because we learn about the truth. You can watch good religious program on net25 or GEMTV

Hi Scheen and welcome to mylot! If you are like me and look into a movie for the backgrounds and beauty of land, Cold Mountain is one of my favorite movies. Has Nicole Kidman in it. Very well made movie. Also Last of the Mohicans is also a good movie with Daniel Day Lewis. And if you want a true story Murder in the First with Kevin Bacon is a very moving story of a young man in Alcatraz. Happy movie watching!

It depends on what motivates you. I get motivated by fight-based movies where the guy gets beaten, trains his a*s off then beats the bad guy's a*s. Like bloodsport, rocky, kickboxer series, never back down etc.
