I am a writer but I got so inspired by my two friends Sharon and Sally who are selling Avon in the US. They have an online business and they don't have to leave their house if they don't want to. People can order online. I had an hour conversation with the avon manager here in Canada and although I can have my business online, and people can order online. The products come to my house and I have three days to pay. Also I have to go and deliver the products. This is the problem for me, I am disabled so I cannot walk and I don't have a car. So that is out for me now. Do you have the ability to have all the shopping online where you don't have to go out and sell in your country?

Here my daughter sells and also has hers on line hardly anyone goes for it for theyhave to pay for the product up front BUT it is dileverired right to them they should set it up like in Canada makes no sine that you have to collect the money and pay for it and deliver it. Good luck with what ever ya do. I do on line but I have to advertize on line to get people to look at my product they go to my site fill out the form and ask for samples of the coffee thats my product I call them to make sure I have address right so they are the ones that get the samples for they do cost me to get and to mail them Then in about a weel I call back to see how they like it and how the feel as its a healthy coffee. If you want to see my page PM me

There are these " business" opportunities I see that say you don't have to handle products but they seem too good to be true. But as a buyer, I can buy just about anything online here in the States.

yep it is great that way. If you are in Canada and you go to the official avon site it is 3.95 shipping, but I would not be able to do that, I would have to pay the full shipping for the weight of the products. I am not a big company like avon. Please I couldn't wait for the money from the customer I would have to pay in three days.

You told me about it being different in Canada. It just doesn't make sense the way it was explained to you. Like for me... People from all over the US can order from me. Now it wouldn't make sense for them to order product and it come to me for me to deliver. It also doesnt make sense for them to order online and you have to pay? It only makes sense for the person ordering to pay. Even though I serve the Bethlehem area anyone from the USA can order from me. I have to wonder if this person told you right? It just doesn't make common sense. The only way it would make sense to me is that if YOU got all the orders up from people and YOU went online to order the stuff. But still you would have to enter a credit or debit card to pay for it if you ordered the stuff online. It might take 3 days for a card payment to register with Avon, but I just can't understand the way this woman told you. I'm just saying it's not logical. What if someone from another province ordered from your website? What would be the logical way for them to order and get their product?

As I told you it works differently in Canada we don't have that service here. Yes the woman knows what she is talking about she is the district manager, we 500 people to teach and train and work for. If she didn't know what she was taking about she would not be that high up in the ranks of avon. This is a woman who makes 50,000 a year on Avon.
