has anyone seen the movie Amelie? there was this gnome who gets to travel around the world and the picture of the gnome together with famous landmarks was the "push" the father of the heroine needed to get on with his lifelong travel plans
many bloggers i know also use their own travel gnomes e.g. dolls, stuffed toys, even a spider man figure to add a touch of unique personality to their travel photos,
for my part, i use a japanese collectible doll (Pinky st doll) ^_^ (see attached). its like a souvenir in itself as i am able to put my personal stamp on the photos i take to remember my travels by
do you have your own travel gnome? what unique quirks do you have when taking travel photos?

I haven't seen the movie called Amelie but it sounds interesting to me. I don't have a travel gnome. My disabled son when he was at playgroup has a teddy that came to stay with us for a long weekend. We were able to take this teddy to Bristol and take photos of him. Then the playgroup had a day out to a visitors attraction. So therefore we went with the teddy and took more photos of him. I traveled around the world when I was 20 to 21 years old. I love to take travel photos with my digital camera. I keep my travel photos in very special looking photo albums.
