Watched The Shawshank Redemption ( 1994 ) - Great Film !

hey..its good that u finally get to see ShawShank Redemptions... its a pretty good movie..no.1 in imdb.. glad u like it..and decide to see it.. everyone or a lot of people including myself have seen it..

It`s really an amazing movie. I love it. Wtched it about two years ago and it was really great, now this is one of my favourite movies. About a month ago i started to read the book on which this movie is based on, but i don`t have enough free time so i still can`t finish it, but i can say that the book is also really interesting. The book is from my favourite writer Stephen King, but i don`t know the name in english in my language it is Rita Haiward and the escape from shawshank (i`m not a hundred 100 % sure that this is the best translation). If you have time and if you can find the book i recommend it to you. :)

Yes even I liked this movie a lot. One of the greatest movies ever I should say. The way escapes from jail was the best part!!! 1 million stars for this movie...

Hi Kiran, Yes-the Shawshank Redemption is indeed a great Film. Very moving. I didn't know that Andy was played by Tim Robbins, but Morgan Freeman is great as Red. And towards the end, when Red finally stops feeling sorry for himself, and gives the Parole Board.. that's a great message. Vintage Stephen King..he keeps us guessing at the end as Red goes off to meet Andy-he thinks about it rather. But what actually happens. If you liked the Shawshank redemption, I can say with total certainty that you will like the Tom Hanks starred "The Green Mile"..that's also so moving. I am not ashamed to say that these two movies brought lumps in my throat. See it if you can. Finally, these movies prove that you can make good movies understandable by the average aam-admi without the item songs, or cleavage or the camera focusing on the female belly button. That is vulgar and cheap. I just don't get one thing that American newspapers say that Americans are stupid, but can stupid people appreciate these kind of movies. Makes you wonder!!!

It is my all time favorite movie ever! I have watched it over and over. Never get tired of it! Morgan Freeman is an amazing actor!!

Hi Kiran yes I have seen this movie and it was extremely good acting. If you liked this movie you may like the Green Mile starring Tom Hanks. Another movie of this type that was I think more of a sleeper but a true story non the less is Murder in the First with Kevin Bacon. both of these movies are extremely good to watch.
