Hey friends new year is around the corner and let me ask u a very simple but a very difficult question, what is your resolution for this new year? One of my friend in one discussion said that he is going to make morning prayers a habit from the next year. Whats your's. Waiting for some crazy and funny resolutions..
Keep ur new years resolution aside, did u follow your previous years resolution successfully?
About me:I take resolutions seriously and follow it till jan's 1st week, after that its no more a new year so i forget abt my old resolution and plan for my next years resolution and this continues for every year.. LOL...

Although I admit I failed miserably completing this year's resolution, I'm willing to have another one for the next year. What I'm planning is basically the same as intended to do this year. Here is the small list:
1- Help others as much as I can
2- Read 32 books
3- Write multiple short stories
4- Keep blogging
5- Finish learning the pieces Fur Elise and Chopin's Nocturne on piano
6- NEW! Keep visiting myLot! :)

Everyone asks me this every year and I say "No I don't make New Year resolutions"! I never keep them! I get sick and tired of other people breaking theirs, too! If you don't intend to keep them,I say don't make any! I also hate people who know your New Years resolution and when they hear you didn't keep them, they won't let leave alone! So there is no point to making any!

I am with you on this one it seems that New Years Resolutions can easily be broken especially when you have so many. It seems to me that it puts a strain on your life especially when there's something that you are suppose to be doing anyway. My question is who came up with it and why. Each year I hear people saying Im going to do this and Im going to do that, later on seeing that they never really started in the first place.I think people should just take it one day at a time and just have goals and focus on those goals one at a time especially when its more than one. People have to learn how to balance themselves and stop biting off more than they can really chew.

I am bad in keeping my new year's resolution. I always list things that I would like to do or a habit I would like to change every year but sad to say, I am not able to really do any of it. Especially the thing I would like to change, I still keep doing them. Hopefully, next year I'd be able to keep all of my new year's resolution. Goodluck to all of us.

I have several for the year ahead:
1) Give up smoking
2) Go to the gym at least 3 times a week.
3) Blog more regularly
4) Cut back on my Facebook hours!

I had a big list of resolutions for 2011 but only fulfilled half. Which is good for me! Because in the end, they are rarely accomplished! So some that I've accomplished were: to participate in 2 art shows, start learning Arabic, practice Spanish, start seeing a therapist, and design new shirts.
My 2012 resolution would be: to make a doctor's visit, to make a dental visit, to participate in 3 more art shows, paint every month, read a new book every month, start learning classical guitar, keep practicing the languages, etc etc etc.

I never make new year's resolutions. Well at least formally to say the very least. There might have been one or two times where I entertained it but you know what, they are doomed to failure more often than they are to succeed. If they succeed, then that is great, wonderful even, but I'm not going to kid myself. Unless one counts my new year's resolution as not making a new year's resolution. Than I'm going to succeed ever year.
That's not to say that I am not going to have goals. What they are, I have no idea right at the moment. Perhaps to save a bit more money than I normally do or something practical like that. But I refuse to call any of my goals New Year's Resolution. There is a curse on that term. Eighty percent of people who do have an intention of following through still fail.

Except for plannning as much holidays/travels as possible nothing. I do find myself a great person. There is nothing I want to change about myself. My habits are fine, just my wallet is very thin but I will see how to manage at time. It's useless to make big plans or plans to change that in my situation. I decided to be happy, to make myself happy each day again and I stick to that.

Well, I want to do good in school next year and I want to make more money online, a lot more! There's other things I want to do as well, like become bigger and stronger after adapting to a better diet and more working out, I want to get a new car, so I'll have to stop spending as much, and saving more wisely. And I want to find a nice job, or make the amount of minimum wage at home, on my computer!
