I am 32 and I have come to realize that I don't have be married to be happy. It took me a long time to figure that out but I'm glad i did. I'm just grateful that my parents aren't like some who try to fix you up with every single guy they know

I feel the same way but I was in my early forties to realize I don't need to be married! I am 49 now! I had parents try to set me when when I still lived at home! My family and society put pressure on me for years that I had to get married! A few friends did or tried to to set me up. All turned into disasters! I tried looking and I tried not looking! Finally I realized I am happy being single and I don't need a man in my life! I know I will be single for the rest of my life and I am loving it!

I know exactly what you mean. I also love to be single.
Today a friend came over. We were sculpturing together and as she left she asked: don't you care to be alone?
I said I am not it's such a luxury to do what you like, to go out when, travel to, eat when and what I want.
Each night I feel so extremely happy if I get into my bed. No fights about the blanket, nobody asking me things, wanting to read, getting in and out bed or bothering me.
No need to please or comfort someone.
