Today , i got on a bus from my home to school.it was really a longway to go and i was carrying a big bag.the bus was too crowded as usual that there's no room to stand.i often feel squeamish if i stayed on a crowded bus for more than 15 minutes cos the shortage of clear air.but it has to take nearly 2 hours to get to my school.i was standing beside an old woman, and i really feel sick on that bus. then, the old lady stood up,and said to me ,"young girl, you seems uncomfortable, your pale face..take my seat please,".i looked at her , surprised,i don't think an old woman will give her seat to the teenager, founding that i hesitated to take the seat, she said "i will be getting off the thid next station",people around are also surprised by her action, then i took the seat,i feel warm.really.everytime i get on the bus,i have to elbow my way to get a room to stand, nearly impossible to get seat unless i get on the bus at the first stop. i thanked her and opened the window to get some fresh air...
so,what do you think of it? have you anything good to share with us?

It's a great story really, people like that make this world a piece of heaven still. More should follow a lead like that. But I am gonna say that's not a "little" thing in life, it's a big one :) a little thing like popping a bubble wrap makes my day great sometimes :) there are very simple things in life that can be surprising.

Yes, I usually like to give my seat to old people or to ladies. When somebody thanks me for it, I feel very good. As if my day has been made. Like that one day I helped an old, blind man to his home. He was alone. When he tried to ask for help, people pretended like they were too busy or they were NOT THERE. I helped him. He asked a few things about me. Then as I was about to leave he blessed me. I felt really good. Not too many people are kind enough to thank. Also the thing that the old lady did for you was very generous. Good hearing that such good people still exist.

That is very impressive! If that happened to me, I'd be as surprised as you, because usually (at least, in my country) people don't care about anyone, specially on the bus. Unfortunately, that's how modern sociaty goes. So, thanks to little things like that one you've just told us, there's still hope to a better world :)

What I am surprised about is that people are surprised old(er) people would not offer a thing like that.
It's my experience that young people are seldom do so, no matter where (in which country) I am it's always the same.
I think helping out someone has nothing to do with age but with paying attention to eachother and notice who is needing it the most at a certain moment.
