Hi my friends,
recently I visited Nepal. Nepal is the country of mountains and temples. The picks of Himalayas attract the tourists to tour Nepal. From the high hill top one can see the sun rise on the snow-white mountains. When the sun rises the picks of white mountains create a heavenly atmosphere. Many young travelers go near to Everest by tracking. Crafting in the hilly streams is also a attraction of Nepal. Nepalis are mainly Hindus. There are many Buddhists also. Actually the Nepalis follow both Hinduism and Buddhism. There are many temples and monasteries all over Nepal. Lumbini the birth place of Lord Buddha situated in Southern Nepal. It is also a tourists attraction place. I found lots of tourists specially the Westerners in Nepal. Nepalis people are very friendly and the girls are smart.

Hi bhanu, Nepal is a great place and I have some lovely memories of the place.I visited it long back when I was in college as part of annual NCC camp, we had gone there camping and for mountaineering training.I would like to visit the place again. Now Kathmandu has become one of the most favored tourist spots and I hear that hotels and resorts are quite expensive...all the best bhanu

Hi kiran,
if you again visit Nepal you will find lots of changes. Nepalis are now very smart. They modernized the tourist spots.I found there flows of tourists. Majority of them were westerners. Dollars are flying there. Yes hotels and resorts are quite expensive there. Nepalis are more interested about white people. Because they don't bother to expense.

It was very interesting to read about your trip to Nepal, it is one of the places that I hope to visit one day. I am thinking about combining it with a trip to India, because I would really like to visit both places. I have a friend from Japan, she visited Nepal some years ago and she enjoyed the trip very much. I found it very interesting to see her pictures and hear about her experiences. I hope that I will also be able to visit Nepal one day

Hi emjay,
hope your wish will be fulfilled and will enjoy the trip to Nepal. Nepal is the holy ground for both Buddhists and Hindus. Hindus believe the gods and goddesses live somewhere in Himalayas. Really the landscape of Himalayas is so beautiful which can't be expressed in language.

Hi my friend Bhanusb. I am very happy to hear that you really enjoyed your trip to Nepal. The mountains and temples sound beautiful. I am pleased that you found the local people friendly. I know a man that visited Nepal to do some trekking across the mountainous landscape. He found Nepal a very cheap country. The religion sounds very interesting in Nepal. For a westerner I believe combining a trip to India with Nepal is a superb idea.

Hello. That is an excellent presentation about Nepal. Very interesting to read. Thank you. I have not been there yet, but I have been thinking of visiting there for some time now. Lumbini is certainly a place of interest for Buddhists, visitors and tourists. I have been to Bangkok, Thailand, a few times. There is a place called Lumbini Park there in the City of Bangkok, taking the name from Nepal.

Hi adhyz,
yes I enjoyed the trip to Nepal. Nepal is surrounded by India in the east, west and the south. In northern side is great Himalayas. Tibet is situated in the other side of Himalayas. There are are many hotels in the capital Kathmandu and other towns. Generally hotel accommodation is expensive. There are cheap hotels also.

Hi kingparker,
don't feel yourself unlucky person. There are so many people in the world who could not see other countries. My financial position is also restricted. So far I only traveled five countries near to my homeland. I was in Nepal for eight days. I shall try to post some photos of Nepal in myLot. Hope in future you will travel Nepal and other countries.

I am so envious! Nepal is one of my top countries to visit in the future. Have you visited the World Heritage Sites? How many did you visit? I have been interested in their tourist attractions and culture for how many years now. I also wanted to know and see how they choose their living goddess.
