Don't It Make Your Brown Eyes Blue?

Recently a doctor in the US has found a laser technique that turns brown eyes blue. Am I alone when I shake my head and say "What?" This may be vanity gone too far. It is one thing to wear coloured contact lenses but to laser your eyes another colour is extreme. Is eye colour THAT important?! What do you think of this?

It is pathetic. Like telling your family what you got isn't good enough. FOr some eye color is all important. I would go for the colored contact lenses before I would have a laser mess with my eyes! They have gone too far. I am fearful of what will be coming up next in technology.

I have heard of laser eye treatment to change a person's eyesight much for the better. Then he or she will save money because he or she won't need to buy any contact lenses or glasses anymore. I like the idea of colored contact lenses but I haven't ever tried them. It is a temporary eye change color which sounds ideal.
I think changing eye color forever from brown to blue is a very bad idea. A person has natural coloring and a Chinese person with blue eyes would look far from natural. I think that it would be vanity going way too far. In my country eye color is blue, gray, green, hazel or brown. I have green eyes which I am happy with. I wear daily disposable contact lenses.
