Have you ever wondered what things would be like if you went back into your past

If you could go back into your past and change something, would you? Maybe you said some thing to someone that you wished you could take back. Maybe you didn't' finish school. Or didn't choose the right spouse. Would you really go back and change it? If you changed one thing in your life, your whole life would change. If you went back to school then you might not have met the person you had children with. Your children would not be here. I have thought about this long and hard and I have decided that even though I made many mistakes that I still pay for to this day. I would not change a thing. If I did I would probably make other mistakes and I would not have my wonderful children. So, for me changing my past is not an option. If I was given the power I would hand it over to someone else. Would you take it?

Happy New Year to you dear friend, I would truly love to go back into my past and change it, just one decision when I said yes instead of no would have made a whole difference and would have saved me 9 years of life of misery being trapped in two abusive relationships. Mind you there would be so much I'd want to change that I would get lost into the past and the future would slip by and so would the present. Most of my trouble is that I think too much of the past, full of regrets, anger and pain. I need to move on, but the past can be very strong and doesn't loosen its grip on you. I would definitely grab the power and change it, in fact I would love to go back to 1998 that is when it started to go wrong for me and I am still paying for that mistake! Huggles.

yes. about my choice of study in the university
it's helpful in terms that it helps me manage money in personal and business
it was a good choice at the time, but now I can see that I am happier in creative stuffs and accounting is hardly creative
but anyway, I wouldn't take that power
I can still take creative courses now anyway

I have spent a long time thinking about what might have happened if I'd done certain things differently in my past. I was thinking about the times that I had gone through that I found very difficult at the time, and it turns out that I would be more than happy to go through all of them again because I always managed to get something positive out of it. Out of one hard time I got an excellent job, and then just after another hard time I was able to find the extreme motivation to be able to lose a large amount of weight; so I honestly wouldn't change those things for the world.

I would not change anything from my past because i like to be the way like i am now. But there are some points that if i change from my past would totally change my life and make me quite a different person as i am now.

Good to know and most of the time if you changed one small detail your whole life would have changed. Like if i had chose to stay in high school I would have not met my daughters father and hence would not have my daughter. (I did go back later and get my GED

Honestly, there is only one thing in my life that I would like to be able to go back and change. That one thing that I would like to be able to change was in February of 1994, when my father experienced a heart attact that ultimately took his life.
You see, I knew that he was not feeling good that day and I should have encouraged him to go to the doctor, but I didn't and then he spent the next four weeks in a coma before he passed away.

Sure but I wouldnt be who i am today, If I could go back I would have lots of kids by now and I would be stuck in work home family process. I have a little more freedom than that for now.

I don't like to go back into my old days.. Its thinking also not better.. I read a story about in the same topic. The man who want to go back on his younger days.. The story is very beautiful. But now I don't remember the writers name..
We think in the old age to become small once again. But the smaller are think to become old man. They think its the good age for the man... Hahaha.....
We should enjoy what God given for us..

sometimes I also wish that I could go back few years ago, because I done something that I realize now that it's wrong, but I also thought that everything that happened in the past is perhaps destined for me, and I am not what I am now because of those mistakes. but it's a nice thought though.

I would not like to alter let alone travel back to my past because it would then alter something in my future. Although my life isn't perfect, I've learned much from the mistakes I've made in the past and if I were to never make those mistakes, then I would be short several impotant lessons where the consequences could be far greater in the long run.
Life ain't perfect, but I like it the way is is. I'm satisified with the way my life is unravelling, and I wouldn't want to observe or modify my past because my future is just beginning to look a bit more positive!
