Hi mylotters here are some tips for having a stress-free and emotion-less life ? Tips to control your EMOTIONS and FEELINGS: 1. Practice YOGA and MEDITATION to calm your mind and gain inner strength. 2. You must know your ABILITIES and work accordingly. Do multitasking in a controlled way. Do not overdo and stress yourself. 3. BREATHING EXERCISES can calm your emotions. They are very helpful in building concentration and focus. 4. Have a “ME-TIME” everyday. Do things that you like to do and enjoy what you are doing. Indulging in a hobby or an art like painting, music and dance makes us realize our inner abilities and confidence. 5. SHARE your feelings. Sharing your feelings with others removes most of your burdens and makes you light. 6. NEVER allow your mind to think anything negative. Take it easy. Thoughts of anger and other negative emotions drain us of our mental strength and make us more stressful. Indulge in positive and happy thoughts. As Horace says: "The mind that is cheerful at present will have no solicitude for the future, and will meet the bitter occurrences of life with smile." Gob bless everyone.....

The numbers 5 and 6 will not work for me or I may have a hard time in doing so or follow. I can only share positive thoughts and experiences to others but not so much so of deeper insights and feelings. I am very secretive most especially in a bad situation that I am hoping might be straighten up in the future, afraid of revealing the truth within a person whom you know might affect strongly your reputation, and the stand of your own family to the view of others. I always wanted respect from others in the sense that I am wearing a good aura of high best regards and it is hurting once destroyed by the one near you or by others and so as much as possible if you can hold on to keep the reflection of a beautiful image, I do it and hide the possibility of destruction that might come out once you burst in anger and be vindictive. I care for a glass not to be broken because if you have broken it you can not bring it back to its original most especially if you do believe a person can change.

Right Dear, let all your worries be seen and be observed by the Almighty, and just portray the role of a happy person initiating positivities to be shared to others. You will not be needing help as you search for it because God is always there to assist you.

There is no need for us to seek out artificial means of dealing with life's dilemmas; we have the true God who has greatest assistance one can ever hope for. And He is more than willing to grant His blessings unto us, through His Son, our Lord Jess Christ. "As pressure and stress bear down on me, I find joy in your commands. Your decrees are always fair, help me to understand them, that I may live."(Ps. 119:143-144)

Thank you so much! I love self help, this was today's share of good message! I loved the part of never thinking negative things. My goal was to think less, and think more positively but I didn't think about exterminating negative thoughts all together, I didn't think it was possible, thank you.

Positivism is considering a person's potentials and possibilities instead of considering one's inadequacies. God bless

These are good tips for having a good life. Why keep ourselves stress anyway. I always keep away from negative people and never listens to what they say. I just ignore those ones. I also keep myself happy with simple things...why make life so complicated when easy life is easy to do.

Yes, experts now generally agree that it is not so much the stressful events in life, but how people react to them that has an impact on health. Blessing

I am glad you have shared this one to all of us here. Sometimes, I do this when I am under stress. Mostly, I do number 3, 4, 5 and 6. Breathing really helps me a lot since when I am having this strong emotions like anger I tend to palpitate so I do breathing exercise to calm me down. Sometimes, I do either the "Me-Time" or I share my feeling to others, depends really on the situation I am into. If I can handle it just by myself then I don't need to share my feelings to others but if there are circumstances that I really need my friends then possible that I pour out all my emotions to them to lessen the burden. And the most important, it is true that one should never allowed to thing negatively. Too much negativity allows stress. So, to avoid stress, one should take things easy. As Peter Pan said, "Think Happy Thought".

To overcome or at least deal with the pressures of life, some dedicate themselves to a physical regimen. Others pursue various hobbies, while others are content with taking a vacation whenever the opportunity arises.

It is often said that life is what we make it, and there is some truth in this when it comes to dealing with stressful events. The way we respond to life's ups and downs depends very much on personality and experience, but everyone can learn to respond more successfully to challenging and difficult circumstances. Yes, an optimistic outlook helps people deal better with stress. Blessing!

Hey there gelayagui98! Thanks for this tips and advice! It truly helped me as I am in hell week now and stress has been served in my meals everyday. Though I don't have time doing yoga and meditation for I would rather sleep, I like the number 6 that you have stated. It always helps not to be pessimistic at things as it will only make one overthink and being negative is such a huge stressor one could get. Happy MyLotting and stay happy and stress-free!

Despite the difficult circumstances, the optimist feels in control because their response gives them hope and forms the basis for future positive action. God bless

Hello. That is an excellent guidance, indeed. I have been practising MEDITATION for a number of years now. Every evening after I get back home from work, I would sit and practise meditation for an hour. That is a very good way for physical as well as mental health.

Hi greenline, everyone gets stressed out by the same things - noise, traffic and overwork, although these stressors may well cause some annoyance to most people, the extent of the stress each person experiences will be different. We all respond to events in an individual way. Yes meditation really is a great help to overcome stress. blessing

Hello gelayagui! I like the number 4 -- ME time. I indulge myself in a hobby to de stress and I give myself a reward or OFF time from problems. I am not so into sharing my feelings and problems to my friends. I don't know. Maybe because years back, I had a bad experience when I had shared to that friend. In the end, that "friend" tells negative things about me. :( Anyway, thanks for sharing this tips. I would try meditation too

Yes bluespygirl, we need also some times to deal for ourselves, we must ask our husband or our own family for us to take day off once in awhile. It is not bad to go to Spa massage and avail of their promo for our relaxation. Sharing problems for a friend dear to you is very helpful but if you had bad experienced before better not do it again just find for other ways to help you ease your feelings and emotion. God bless!

I want to say something on the fifth tip.Sharing our feelings with friends removes most of your burdens and makes our light, which is good for handling the relationship between feelings and emotions. Sometimes I can't control our emotions and lost my temper to my mum, then I calm down and feel sorry to her.I don't know how to relieve my feeling.

Try the number one and if it is not enough, count 1 to 10 or more until you feel relieved. Thanks
