Many people say they have trusted friends, later finding out that they could not really be trusted. When it comes to choosing friends, how do really know if that person can really be trusted or not, since people can turn out to be the opposite of what you thought?

A real friend is a friend that will never turn back at you. he or she will always be there whenever you needed a company, a good listener. They will never complain about having to do something for you. besides that, they are willing to land their hand when you are invaded with problems. You can easily identify them if your friend will always meet you and talk about all kinds of things, spending a whole day with you doing pretty much nothing besides sharing things. The friends that will only be there when you visit shopping malls, when you are treating people for meals, when everything is going smooth. These so called "friend" need not pay much attention to.

I think you will know if that friend is a trusted one based on his personality. You will know that if you've been together for a long-time. We all have friends, close friends, best friends, but only few of them can be trusted. I have 3 close friends and I've realize that only ONE of them who is truly to be trusted. :/

for me, i would know a trusted friend whenever the friend is there to support me, he does not have to say anything, just that i know he is there for me when i need him the most. especially of course when he or she notices that i am not in my good side. like if i am not feeling well or if i am in a bad mood.
