Welcome to myLot, home of some great discussions and even better people! Typically friends are used in the sense that they will assist you or recommend you to some excellent money making opportunities rather than a social networking appeal. I guess you go about myLot as a social network, but I'd like to think of it more as a discussion board where discussions are to be serious, and relevant a majority of the time so I treat my friends as colleagues in a sense. I don't build relationships with them because they are, for the most part, associates in helping me to expand my financial capital.
But you can still have fun here! :)
