Well, the title of my discussion is now my own motto.
i stay for a while on facebook this morning while i'm
chatting with my fiancee but nothing new, nothing interested
so i better say to my self, better to stay mylot than facebook.
Here at mylot we can encountered a lot of interesting discussions
where friends can comment and even not friend can comment too
if in facebook if you are not in a friendlist you can view
or can leave a comments on their wall, is it true right?
what about you guys, your thoughts about in the 2 social sites?

Like you are,i also spend most of my time here in mylot where learning is continues.
I have time to give my ideas and consult our friends here to share their thoughts..Not only thoughts but useful thoughts..
Though i also have sometime with facebook, its not spent to chat with my friends and family but to do some business.
I think its better that way.

umh.. I prefer FB than Mylot. Not because I hate mylot, but its because FB has faster access and my IRL friend goes there.
I can speak in my native language.
The only positive about MyLot is the paid post. IF IT still paid ^^ Dotn know. I just come back here since I miss mylot. lol

To determine your motto is very meaningful.
Napoleon I agree with you.
I would also prefer to sit here in otkolokoto Facebook.
because there is much more fun and even win.
Facebook and go sit there to get anything.
success.
continue to think so.
nice day!

I also stay longer in mylot. I find it more interesting and fun. You can participate in the discussions and learn. I learn a lot from here. I do always open my facebook account but I don't stay there longer. I am not addict on it anymore.
But. we can't compare mylot and facebook. Facebook is a social networking while mylot is a forum. The only thing I guess that makes the two similar to each other is that we can have friends. This is just my opinion. Happy mylotting!

I think that both Facebook and MyLot are good in their own ways. Facebook is good for people who wish to interact with their friends, to know what's happening among their social circles. However when it comes to finding solutions for more serious issues, I think Facebook won't be a good choice. This is because Facebook's user environment is such that people say anything they like without restriction (there's no moderator to say who is relevant and who is off-topic), so there is a high chance that you'll see comments that are not well thought through appearing. This type of comment doesn't really help when it comes to finding your way through serious issues/problems. As for MyLot, the environment and system is such that people would usually think through their ideas and thoughts before posting anything, so it is more likely to find constructive suggestions for those who might really need some help with the problems they are facing.
So in short, Facebook is good for catching up with friends and normal communication, but MyLot is a better choice when it comes to seeking out answers that one might need.

Facebook for me is my medium to communicate
with my family, relatives and friends. I treat
it as a personal channel. While Mylot is more
of a social forum where I learn, share ideas
and opinions, while at the same time, earn.

I used to spend some time online on Facebook until I discovered Mylot about a year ago,and since that moment my preferences changed completely and Mylot quickly became my favorite site;now I only spend a few minutes a day on Facebook, except for the moments when someone from my friend list wants to chat with me,and I prefer to spend my time on Mylot searching for interesting topics created by interesting people and discussing them.Anyway, not only that mylot allows to express my points of view on a variety of topics, but it also pays me for my activity, which facebook doesn't,so I can only agree with the title of the discussion, because I feel that the time spent here on mylot is definitely not wasted,as it happens in many occasions with facebook.

In mylot if you spend your time posting at least you not only enjoy but you earn some cents. Although in the long run its seems not worth it. But I guess its going to worth it. Since most of the time members are always posting. And you can make constant discussion with any topics that you want.

That true. I have never spent much time in Facebook. I always prefer spending more time in Mylot instead. Some discussions here are very helpful indeed.

I am convinced. myLot far is better that Facebook. But I still have friends and group Facebook account so I should still check my account from time to time. Though I invited some of my friends to join myLot but only a handful find interest to sign up.
mylot has given us the opportunity to broaden our minds and keep us converse a mature way by sharing a real life situations. Facebook only shares photos from friends and family members but I often times find some people tend to flaunt all their status that they've been to this place or anywhere else, even showing what they recently aquire.
