I have my own teeth but my son is 35 and his teeth are really bad, he is going to get them taking out and get false teeth. Do you have false teeth and if so how old were you when you got them?

I really need to get my teeth all pulled and a set of false teeth. I am 37 years old and I've needed it for the past several years. My Husband whom is 49 this year, pulled all his own teeth over a period of a few years, but he doesn't want false teeth at this time. I am trying to talk him into it after he is cancer free

I have 6 teeth I have pulled myself..and a few broken ones..which are a pain..but I found that toothpaste for sensitive teeth work really well in helping with tooth pain.

My mother was probably ten years older than you son before she had hers done. I am 60 and have been wanting and needing to get it done for about ten years now. We have come into money at different times but always have to use it for something else. My dentures seem to take a back seat most of the time.

yes that is always the way, we always find something else that seems more pressing at the time and then we never get this things done they just get pushed back.

I have false teeth. Top plate when I was 23 years old and I was in my 40's when I had my bottom teeth out. I am going to be 61 on the second of December and I have to say I wouldn't trade my false teeth back to my own for all the money in the world, I went through hell with my teeth. I can eat absolutely everything with my false teeth, they never cause me problems and they look 100% natural. I have has so many people tell me I have good teeth.

Unlike both of my roommates, I still have all my teeth - sans wisdom teeth... However, my mother was a stickler about dental care, and I'm the ONLY one of us who goes to the dentist regularly...

My mother had false teeth put in when she was 21 years old. She had what was called chalk teeth which meant no matter what she did her teeth would constantly fall out even if she was eating something as soft as bread. My teeth have been terrible since I was young and I have needed to have the same thing done for a while, however I do not have the finances to do so... =( Unfortunately. I am 27 years old and I wish I could get mine done so people would stop looking at me so differently. I only smile with my mouth closed because I am so mortified with the way my teeth look. My family didn't have the money to take all 4 of us to the dentist on a regular basis when we were younger so my teeth have been pretty bad for quite some time now...

I was 30 when I first had dentures. I had a total tooth extraction in surgery and woke up with my teeth in my mouth.

Hurt like heck too... my gums started swelling with the dentures on and I ended up prying them off my gums and then I couldn't put them back in until my gums healed and the swelling went down. I wouldn't recommend anyone have them put in the day of a total mouth, because the pain is torture. I thought it would be great to wake up with my teeth in my mouth and be able to keep them in... they were to act like a bandage for my mouth.. but the pain was just too much. Some folks can probably tolerate the pain.. but I couldn't.

I'm only 23 years old. I can say my teeth even worse than your son. you can't believe how weak my teeth are. I will not forget that day, when I'm eating an apple, I just bite a little, then my teeth dropped!!!!I'm not joking, it's real. I'm also worried about my teeth.
