Does mosquito coil have negative effects to humans as well?

Mosquito Coil - These are scented mosquito coils.

This is the first time I use mosquito coil due to so many mosquitoes inside our room. The mosquito coil is a scented one. I can smell the combination of smoke and its floral scent. Will it also affect my health? I am really not aware if it has negative effects to humans.

i think, mosquito coils of today, are environmental friendly and they don't harm our lungs anymore. That's because the manufacturers are also aware that people won't be buying them if their mosquito coils can harm our health.

Maybe it have a negative effects but as long as you don't use them everyday, then i think it won't be a problem. I usually use them if i'm outdoor, for indoor i usually use the electric one because it doesn't produce smoke.
