My So-Called Life

I was browsing through "Watching Television" here in Mylot and it suddenly reminded me of my favorite tv series My So-Called Life. I started watching it when I was in high school and I remember being able to relate to it in every single angle of my teenage life.
I miss this show. I'm not sure if there are no more tv series that I can relate to because I have changed or if there is really no ordinary but good tv series these days anymore :( Everywhere it is always love, detective and vampire stories.
I wonder if anyone also loved this series aside from me. Oh, and yeah, I think Claire Danes is great even though there was this issue before about her saying something mean about our country ^_^

Do you have The Sundance Channel? They are airing My So Called Life Mobday nights at 11pm EST. They are in mid season. They just aired the episode when Angela is meeting Jordan to make out! I missed it when it aired the first time back in 1994 but I fell upon it in reruns a few years later. It was too good for t.v. I'm way older but I could relate to the story. I love it.

I don't think we have Sundance Channel from my country :( But I can watch the episodes in Youtube. The only bad thing is, the picture is not so good but I cannot complain since this is free! What more could I ask for, right? ^_^
Yeah around 1994 I was in high school that is why I fell inlove with this series. It's like my life playing before me :) You know how teenagers are, even if there is no problem, life for them (us, before) is a one big question mark

Bummer! But I'm glad you can se it for free! " One big Question mark"? You just described my life now. As a teen I just assumed everything was fleeting and at graduation I would disappear. So in a way I had more of a plan back then !

Do you have a favorite episode? I have two. The one I mention with Angela and Jordan making out and The Substitute teacher!

Now that is a blast from the past, I remember a while back in an interview with Jared Leto they mentioned the show and how it helped him move forward in his career. I barely remembered the show, I don't think I saw most it for some reason, I had every intention of re-watching it but well I still haven't but maybe now I should. I had even forgotten about Claire Danes being in it I always think incorrectly that her break out role was Romeo and Juliet.

That's the one, Jared Leto has had a very interesting career, he did a bit of television, did some movies and then 30 Seconds to Mars, he is one of those few performers that is just as well known for his acting as he is for his singing. You peaked my interest I am probably going to watch the show again.

Jared Leto is now a band member of 30 Seconds to Mars, right? I've always loved his eyes ^_^ I did watched Claire Dane's and Leonardo Dicaprio's Romeo and Juliet too and yeah, she was exceptionally good in that!

I too also watch TLC and sometimes History Channel. But I rarely watch television now because of the internet ^_^ I am glad you also like My So-Called Life, we can really relate to it especially when we were teenagers ^_^

Happy New Year,I think television put the vampire movie very sick,though,it reflects the high-tech,the problem is to reflect the Hi-Tech,it is necessary then turned into a disgusting it?I have a meal at meal time,just put the TV vampire and horror film,I was,did not eat.Very sick all day,and now TV shows,movies too pursuit of high-tech,and regard for the audience's feelings.I like watching action movies,because there are very few disgusting scenes,as well,and there was little love in the plot,the parade saw many exciting scenes,people looked very comfortable.Cartoon mouse and cat,very nice,very funny,unfortunately,is not such a good script which large.

Yeah, Twilight series is enough for me. No more vampire movies or stories. Enough. Hehe.. So, do you know this tv series "My So-Called Life"?

I used to watch this show too and really liked it. I think there aren't as many good shows as there used to be. Detective and vampire stories are getting more support from the networks. Also, people are addicted to reality tv shows and watching them so much that almost every other new show is a reality show. In fact, there is a reality show on MTV called My Life as Liz that sort of reminds me of My So-Called Life. I dont normally watch it but happen to see a few episodes when the tv was on that station and I didnt feel like changing it.
