My 3 weeks old baby boy just started to have rashes all over his face. I know its normal for an infant to have rashes but as I've observed it became more visible and it spread to other parts of his body. First in his face, now it rolls down to his neck and chest. Can we consider it as skin asthma? or just a normal rashes? What medication should be given to prevent this rashes from spreading? I already clean his room and make sure that his room is cool. Still the rashes is radiating. Help me experts, what am I going to do?

There are a lot of reasons for rashes on a baby could be allergie to milk,to the soap,to the clothes, could be the hot weather, could be that the mother took antibiotics durinf the pregnancy, most most of the times the rashes dissapear in a week, one day my son being 10 days of birth presented rashes in all his body suddenly his body became coverted of that,so I him to the doctor and by the time the doctor saw him the rrashes were dissapeared, so give the baby at least 3 days more and if it continues go to the doctor.
Here you have some of the rashes and its reasons:
Eczema
Itchy rash that typically occurs in the creases of the elbows or knees, as well as on the cheeks, chin, scalp, chest, and back. Appears as dry, thickened, scaly red skin or tiny red bumps that may ooze or crust. Most common in families with a history of allergies or asthma. Typically shows up in the first year of life and often is gone by age 2, but can persist through adulthood.
Try rinsing your laundry a second time before drying and avoiding dryer sheets. It could be an allergy though. As a baby, a friend was allergic to most milk products. Her mom tried every formula made, but was finally advised by an Indian doctor to try goat milk. That was the end of the rashes.
Milia
Many babies are born with milia — tiny white bumps that appear on the nose, chin or cheeks. Most cases of milia disappear on their own within a few weeks. In the meantime, wash your baby's face once a day with water and a mild soap

Thanks for the information ma'am. I consider everything that you've said for causing this rashes, but In our family we don't have history of asthma or any skin allergies. Maybe its on the soap or the clothes we dress to the baby, but any way thanks for sharing this facts. Its really a big help for me in attending to my young boy's rashes. Good day ma'am and GOdspeed

Let me guess your first baby. Don't worry you don't need a doctor. You son is fine this happens to new borns all of the time. Just put some baby lotion on him every day. He has dry skin trying to fall off. It's very normal for babies. Even there hair will fallow get darker or lighter the same with the eyes. Your son might even get some acne so don't worry about that either. I surged that you go to babycenter online to help you with your questions like in the middle of the night and stuff. As long as it's not bothering your son Amd causing him any pain then he is okay.

hni vicecaholic I bet y ou did not get any innoculations yer and it sou nds like you need to take the baby to your doctor as he sounds like he just has contracted the measles face, chest and neck it
pretty clear to me its a childhood disease.you should get your'
baby immunized as soon as possible for all the other childhood
'diseases to prevent any others. this is not a common rash it probably is the measles unless the rash has pustules then you
are looking at chickenpox.but you should get to your doctor asits not normal for a baby to hav e a spreading rash so its likely
the measles. not good for a tiny new baby either. so do get the
other immunizations when you see the doctor.
