Hi savypat, I have had someone call my name and awaken me in the morning when I was alone at home. This has happened to me on several occasions but I've never known who was calling me or why. Once someone was sleeping in another room and I checked to see what they wanted but found them sleeping soundly. I think everyone has a constant chatter going on in their head and we should try to program positive thoughts. Blessings.

I was out in the field one day and heard someone call my name, loud and clear. There was no one around. I did wonder about that. But I am a great one for playing the chatter tapes in my head over and over. But when I remember that God says be quiet and listen it all goes away. Then I will hear that small intuitive voice that quiets all. Blessings

Thankfully, I am not one of those people where the voices in my head are taking over my life. With that said, I do tend to get a lot of earworms going on in my head and those will absolutely drive me crazy.
What an earworm is is a song that you've heard somewhere that gets stuck in your head and it is almost impossible to get rid of it. These are especially bad for me with the songs that come on my son's television shows.

Well, I would not call them voices or tapes. I would call it just thinking. Maybe think out loud. I often think about what needs to be done. I also constantly think about what to do first and how to accomplish everything quickly. I honesty think only crazy people hear voices, we here our thoughts. There is nothing wrong with that.

There was a time in my life that I was very depress and I used to hear a voice telling me that I don't deserve anything just feel pain, that voice was driving crazy, thanks God that I could get up and go on in the life.
The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four Americans is suffering from some form of mental illness. Think of your three best friends. If they're okay, then it's you. ~Rita Mae Brown
