hello guys i will share you this tips. im using gmail and mylot keeps on notifying me if my friends started new thread and someone tell me that i can stop it on preference but cant find that option "email me if my friend started new thread" and here what i did to solve my problem.
to stop mylot notification if my friend started new thread.
create a filter.
from: discussions@mylot.com
subject: started a new discussion on myLot!
and create filter it is simple you will not get email notification any more if your friend create new thread.
note this is for gmail.

I wonder why you do not want to received any notifications from mylot.
I lost my notification due to some glitch a year from now.
It is not easy for me to track down responses and i want my notifications back....
Well, it is your choice..but for me...it would be easier to receive notification than scanning thru discussions everytime.

Hmmm well What problem you have with that, I think Its a good Option and Service by mylot that without any extra effort you have the knowledge of new discussion started by your friends in your email and you can keep an eye on what they are doing and discussing.
Any ways its your personal matter.
