These days facebook is currently under attack. The most common reason for facebook attack is users viewing data over unsecured connection which can be easily accessed. For this enable secured browsing. Go to the downward pointing arrow on top right hand side and then to account settings. From Account Settings, enable "Secure Browsing" to submit data over HTTPS. This makes it very difficult for hackers to get your information. However, you still need to be careful about the apps on facebook and what access you give to them as most apps cannot be viewed over secured connection. Also never update ur codecs or download flash when viewing a video from flash. Codec can be easily downloaded by using : Klite mega codec and update flash and shockwave from adobe's Page. Use these steps for safer browsing.
