These days I have built this habit of getting up early in the morning at 4:00AM.
I sleep early at night and also I wake up early.
It is a habit now, I get up without any alarm.
After that I drink the 3 glass of the water and all the sleep gets gone.
I feel fresh throught the day.
I was thinking about it and thought to share with you.

Hello Sanjay,
Waking up in the morning is definitely a good habit. When one gets up early in the morning he does remain active for whole day.
But friend unlike you i don't get up early in the morning as i am a night bird who sleeps late and wake up late at 7:00 Am that too because i have to go to office otherwise i would wake up in the noon*hehehe*
I tried in the past to wake up early in the morning daily and go for morning walk but could not continued it because of my schedule its like i go to bed for sleep at 1:00 Am and its not possible for me to get up early but really now i am working hard to stick to the saying"early to bed, early to rise".

Yep, waking up early is a good habit if you are also sleeping early. As the saying goes, "Early to bed and early to rise". Your body forms a memory when you do wake up at the same time consistently and habitually. I do have a tendency too to wake up early even when my alarm is just about to ring. But will the glasses of water wash away the sleepiness and sluggishness in the process of waking up? I never have tried that before. Maybe because I am still sleepy to get up in the first place and reach for a glass of water! But what I do to remove the sleepiness and sluggishness is to do some stretching and breathing exercise. It helps circulate oxygen and blood to all parts of the body and makes me more lively waking up.

Drinking water is very good for you. I am usually going to bed about the time you get up. I tend to go to sleep about the time you are getting up. ANother healthy thing too is to eat fruit up until noon to break your fast. Helps to keep your digestion working and your system in order.

I drink the water in the morning and it was a hot discussion here on Mylot also about drinking the water in the morning.
Everyone discussed the benefits of the habit and I was inspired by it. Few days back a girl use to call me and she is having this habit of waking up in the morning. Now whe started calling me in morning after waking up and in few days it became a habit of mine too. Now I enjoy to wake up early.

Actually need to drink water through out the day. I have always been a night person but I can see where the morning can be nice and you can enjoy more of the day this way.

That's true my friend, when you sleep early in the evening you will surely wake up early. That's because the number of hours that your body needs is already complete. And it becomes a habit to be sleeping and waking up early .
It really feels good to be waking up early. You are able to see the beauty of an early morning. You also get to do a lot of things done when you wake up early.
I believe in the adage, " early to bed, early to rise. "

Hi,
I started this discussion because today I woke up and there was no work to do. I listened the Radio and I was also thinking if there was really something productive for what I could use these early morning hours. Then I exercised for some time and then took the bath.

I feel that same about the habit. I love to do the work in the morning rather than waking up all night.

I am very happy to know that friend.... :-) But honestly, I can't to follow that....
I don't know why it is....I can do my all works by sitting at night...There will not have sleep in my eyes....On all days, I get up after 6.30 am.....If I get up early,I will be very moody....I will not speak to others before 15 minutes after the sleep...I will be in the hang over of sleep....So I will not try to get up early in the morning....How do you drink 3 glasses of water ?????I can;t drink one glass of water in the empty stomach...I practices yoga for good health.... ALL THE BEST FOR A GOOD LIFE....

I agree that waking up early is a good habit. On weekdays, I get up as early as six thirty or seven, but when I don't have to work, I will sleep late and get up late because I want to sleep more. I always feel that I need more hours to sleep during working days. It would be a great pleasure for me when weekends come. Take care, sanjay.

if your job may rquire it for you to be awake at 4 am then do as you have built as an habit for this will be good for you and your body to adjust the time of the repairing process the body is doing to itself especially on your internal organs. but if there's no complicated reason for you to be awake at 4 am then i suggest you stay more time in bed at least even 5am at the most because 4am to 5am is the time in which the body is repairing your lungs as per chinese natural healing time is concern. but dringking 3 glasses of water is good and this will give you a positive result.

Hi sanjay, I think it is a great habit to wake up early and start your day early.I, for one am unable to do that since I stay up late and it has become a habit now. However, I certainly feel that it is healthy to wake up early and go for a brisk walk or do some light exercise .Drinking warm water first thing in the morning has been advised by Ayurveda...all the best and keep it up

For me, waking up early is really a good habit. It shows discipline on your part. And you can do a lot of things when you wake up early. But one must however get enough sleep too. It wouldn't be healthy if you only have a few hours of sleep everyday.

I agree with you, it shows a discipline on our part, and also it is benefitial for many reasons. I take enough of sleep and then I wake up early in the morning. Sometimes i wake up and put the head phones in there to listen some good music. It freshes everything.

Waking up early in the morning has never been one of my strong points, mainly because I always go to bed at around 12am. I am a real night owl, not an early bird! I think I should make it a mission to wake up very early at around 4am (like in your case) for a month just to experience something different.

I don't think that waking up this early is actually healthy. On the contrary I think is is unhealthy since your body is probably needing more rest. If you want, you can try sleeping a little late compare to your normal sleeping hour so that you can get up a little late like 6 AM.

I take a sleep of about 7 hours. I told you that I sleep ealry at night.
I think it is good to wake up in the morning and do something good for you.
In morning your mind is fresh, the air around you is fresh. So you can make some good plans for the day forward. Also drinking water in the morning before going to toilet or brushing your teeth is considered good for many reasons.
Maybe you should revise your thoughts on the whole topic.

Well, as long as you sleep the right amount of sleep, then it is certainly beneficial to health. Usually 8 hours is good and sleeping more is already bad, sleeping less is also not good. Since you sleep early then there is no problem waking up early, you certainly will end up having the right amount of sleep. But there are those people that have to work late and won't be able to sleep early. Thus, they will most likely wake up a little bit late for them to compensate the right amount of sleeping hours in order for the body to be fit and well.

For me yes you need to be with that if you are working and need to be early but not the early time is about 5:30 in the morning.

I don't wake up that early but I feel like when I wake up around 7:30ish or 8 AM, I have the entire day to live and accomplish tasks! Its really awesome and I hate when I wake up around midday or I sleep for too long because I only have half of the day, and I don't ever get anything productive accomplished! So I attempt to wake up very early on a daily basis that way I can have a very productive day, and I can see the sun for a majority of the day!

It's nice if you are full of energy and able to do more during your day.
4 is close to the time I go to bed so I don't think this is for me but if it works for you then that's awesome! :)
Exercising helps me stay fresh and full of energy!
Happy Mylotting! :)
