not at all times. not every mother and daughter are close.

No one can deny that the bond between a mother and any of her children, whether her daughter or son is very, very strong. But I believe the bond between father and son is as strong as well. Sons discuss some things to their dads that they can't tell their moms. Similar to a daughter telling things to her mom that she can't tell her dad.

I agree that mother-child relationship is a powerful bond. Mother's presence influences the child in different corners of his/her life from the character,way of thinking and life style. The upbringing of parents, in a bigger screen,establish a part of what is your child right now. I would say a part only since the child still has the space where he can experience different world from what he has seen with his/her parents. Mother has a bigger role in the family since she's considered the light of each house. Usually the mother has bigger heart and ears to feel and understand each child she brings here in the world.
