I'm so busy with work, I don't have time to comment on myLot!

I have been so busy this week, from Monday until today. Continuous meetings, meetings in the morning and another in the afternoon. When I get back to my desk, I need to work on my desktop works. Powerpoints, excels, data analysis etcetera. When I finally find time to read discussion on myLot and I am about to comment on a certain discussion, my boss calls me and give me work to do.. (sigh).. My earnings have been stagnant for three days, I need to find time to participate more. :(

I am also very busy with my duties but I spent a little time to post for a discussion or to answer for a discussion .I manage the time very efficiently this is how i used to have time for posting answers or posting discussion in mylot.

Yes, I was thinking of mylotting when I get home at night. But the thing is, I was too tired when I get home that right after eating, I pass out to sleep. haha!

Yeah we just need to learn how to manage our time efficiently,if you don't have much time for to participate in discussions in mylot you need to think of ways how to maximize your time here, think of how you can save time by sticking on one routine that works for you.

Hi bhonti It's okay think of this, would you choose mylot over your offline job? no right? We earn way more in our regular job than any online job so it should still be our main priority. Yeah we enjoy and have fun in mylot but we still need to be responsible with our offline job, don't let mylot compromise your offline job. You can still find some time to spend in mylot if you really want to.

Your boss pays you to work for him, not to use the time posting on MyLot! Think about how much you are paid per hour (or per minute) for just being at work and then compare it with how much MyLot pay you for an hour's responding and commenting ... then BE GLAD that you have a job at all (many people here don't).

Hey owlwings , you are right. Your boss gives you income or money to work for the company needs not to do discussions on mylot but I know that it will be very difficult to do the same task which is asked to be done by the boss. So keep time for doing mylot. Don't miss any of your good friends.

Haha! you got a point there. :) It's just that, I was used to the kind of work that was not too hectic that I can squeeze in a little "myLotting tasks". I was surprised by this month because we have a lot of work lined for us. Besides, i miss myLot.

I'm very familiar with jobs which jog along nicely and give you some time to do your own thing but which suddenly have a busy time where you have to pull out all the stops to get the work done (often because so much time is wasted in meetings!) Lots of meetings and people running around like headless chickens can be either a good sign or a bad sign. I can only hope for your sake that all this work means plenty of business for your company and that, in turn, you'll see a nice bonus coming your way. Sadly, it doesn't always work like that! I wish you all the best, anyway!

Hello Bhonti, Even i too have a regular job but unlike you i am able to comment back and respond to the discussions but i can't as i too have to do lots of work in office and it never upsets me because i can do it whenever i get the leisure time and that's the way i don't keep my office work suffered by MYLOTTING. But Bhonti i feel you need only 5 minutes to respond to at least 2 discussions and i think you can spare at least 15 minutes from your working hours to do that.

Same here! Good thing that I am able to comment and respond every now and then with my the little time that I can stay in here. Like you, I can only read discussions but have very little time to comment or respond to them. It is really frustrating to b obligated to do other things when you want to relax and participate in an interesting and healthy discussion. Oh well, work is really a big hindrance to myLot. What do you think?

Same here! I cannot be as active as I am before because of my studies. I often imagine mylot during breaks. I would imagine myself responding to discussions and all that but even if I want to participate more, I can't because my studies is my priority and even if I miss mylot a lot I won't give up my future with it. You should think the same way too. You would earn ten times more on your job than here in mylot. Be thankful that you have an actual job. The rate of unemployment here in the Philippines have increased so try to appreciate what you are doing. Good luck to you!

I too visit mylot during my break time or free time, but these past few days, I do not have that luxury anymore. Anyway, as you have said, your studies, in my case, my work is our priority. So we better put this things first and then mylot and other stuff second.

Mylot is a fringe benefit and needs to be treated as such. You are the boss here and no one will question you unless you violate guidelines. Your job comes first and you need to pay full attention there.

Don't you have a pc at home, because at work is not the best place to work ob=n mylot. I know is difficult to be away of mylot for a long time, because this is a lovely site but try to do it only when you are at home or out of work.

I am also busy from my ever demanding job. But I always find ways to sneak out and check myLot. I have been inspired from some friends in here who are already earning. The best thing in myLot that I should'nt miss is the discussions. I find some responsed worth to ponder. Discussions is all bout reall life endeavor and I myself could get points for myself to move my life ahead.

Yes, no mylotting means no extra earnings for me. Thank goodness its a weekend here in my country. I have time to pay up for the times of no participation.

Thank you. I admit I am a bit stressed with my work right now. It's maybe because I'm a bit young in the company. Still getting the hang of it, but I know I can it, its a great help I have friends at work.

I'm also in the same condition here.I'm a student and did not have much time to spend on myLot,commenting.I am so sad about this.I think,i can't use myLot for next two days because of personal reasons. So sad about that...!

That is sad indeed, but its still okay. Just think of it this way. In two weeks without mylot, you will gain more experiences outside. Which means more stories, more discussion to post and more tales to share.. :)
