Are you trying to save something from the internet to your computer? Or have you downloaded a file from the net or email and you cannot save it to your pc and it says that the name is too long?
I think i remember having experienced this; what happens is that the file name contains special characters that are not allowed to be saved as a filename. You only need to use alphabets and no special character in naming a file - this should help you save it. do not use these. /||{}[]

It usually happens if the file is in chinese, korean or using symbols that are not recognized by the operating system you use today. All you need is a font that allows it to be read by the system.
