There are many apps that I personally think are the must have apps on your phone. To list some
PowerAMP music player
Moboplayer
Go launcher
Launcher 7
Go contacts
Go SMS
ES file explorer
and many more. I'm gonna start a blog on the best android apps.

Thats awesome!!!! i definitely going to try out these!
Keep me updated with the blog... that would really be interesting! Also, i have found that Android has an issue with connecting to WiFi that is sitting behind a proxy... i cant seem to find any settings of sorts of which i can put in a manual proxy server and authentication... could you perhaps help me out with that?

with polaris office you can edit MS Office documents, and read pdf files. (or you can use Adobe Acrobat Reader for Android to open pdf) Total Commander for Android is a good file manager. i like it

Installing many softwares on your phone doesnt make your phone slowwer but running too many apps in the background simultaneously will make it slower. If you don't install softwares on your phone then whats the use of buying an android phone and whats the use of 3lac apps that developers have created for this beautiful OS.
