thanks for sharing.yes some fruits also contain sugar in the form of fructose as said by our another friend which I researched and confirmed through many good websites and now have made a list of eatables for my husband so he gets nutrition but not more glucose and also researching on those traditional ayurvedic methods which can create and increase insulin production automatically and normally and will concentrate on this for now. Thanks again.

Fiber rich fruits tend to be the fruits that the diabetics can eat skins and seeds as it is these parts of the fruit that are highest in fiber. Fruits high in fiber include (fiber content in brackets): apples, pears, apricots , blueberries kiwifruit, strawberries, pomegranates, and avocados
The avocado is not only high in fiber, but is also a rich source of monounsaturated fat.
Fruits high in fructose, and those with high fructose to glucose ratios are also beneficial to diabetics because fructose does not require insulin to metabolize and therefore can be enjoyed by people with insulin resistance problems. Fructose also has a much lower glycemic index of 19 compared to glucose or sucrose (table sugar) which have GI values of 100 and 60 respectively. This means high fructose fruits will not spike blood sugar levels to the same extent as high glucose fruits. High fructose fruits include apples, pears, guavas, and mangoes – all of which have fructose to glucose ratios greater than

Thanks but the problem is not with me but it is my husband who is suffering from it and I am trying to know what things he can eat so he can have some variety at least without feeling dry with the same kind of fruits and vegetables and other things served to him everyday.By the way this is a everlasting problem and continues forever, but still it is manageable and just proper care is required.

Hi,there.
I also have an old grandmother who has diabetes too. She is about eighties but as fresh as sixties or fifties. Here is her fruit routine consuming everyday.
She sometimes eats banana, apple, pear or cucumber, it can be fresh or boiled. The portion of each fruit is only the little one, not till make her be full of it.She eats the fruit not all in one time but one by one in each day, if she wants it. Consuming boiled pumpkin is really help her in decreasing her sugar rate on blood. I don't know exactly what is the relation between pumpkin and the decreasing of the sugar rate, but it works for her. You may try it, hope you get best effect too.
Further, you have to avoid giving these fruits to your husband, such as mango, mangosteen, jackfruit, and rambootans. Those fruits make my grandmother's sugar blood higher although consuming in little portion.
