I'm glad snow is finally here!

It's snowing, and it's gonna be a whopper! Then rain and ice pellets in the evening. Blah on that, but I'm just sick of the fluctuating temperature changes, and it's almost December and I'm more than ready for steady, cold weather and snow. I have a snowsuit with a good lining (old one of Hubby's when he was skinnier, but it fits me now). When I pick up the kids from school we always go to the playground, and now that I have a snowsuit that fits, and the kids have snowsuits, we can still keep on playing in the snow and building snow sculptures. That'll be good exercise for the three of us, and we usually play outside until dusk. We might not be able to play outside today because of the storm but I'm looking forward for the coming weeks.
Let's all have a snowball fight!

Oh my God you're so lucky! Unfortunately it doesn't snow here, though I've seen snow multiple times when I travelled to Australia. If it did snow here, I expect schools would close for months, since they did when it only rained for a day.
Anyways, have fun these months, and happy new year in advance :)

I love winter scenes, I'm somewhat of a hobby-photographer and I've seen some fantastic views especially from on top of a cliff. It's breathtaking. Heres one such picture...

How dare you write something like this! You are the humbug to the global warming monster. Stop it this instant! If you continue to wish for this thing we will need to watch sugar coated trees leaning over to look at the happy faces in the snow. It may not be too much fun for grand ma ma either who worries so much about slipping on the ice and breaking her hip or uncle Charles who needs to get out and shovel the walk way but for all the children in the world and all the folks with the heart of a child - see you on the ice rink, eh. Poof, here comes a snow ball at you. Splat!

Yes, ma'am, it is coming ! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow !! I enjoy watching snow falling. Very refreshing. I would like to be outdoors playing in the snow as I get older, but I certainly still very much enjoy watching the snow falling. Have a nice time !

Thanks :-) I just read on the Environment Canada website that we're going to lose all that snow to warmer temps, unfortunately. I'd like for it to stay cold :-( Oh well, perhaps soon the cold air will stay for good. And the snow.

masihi, what a great time..I remember those days when my children were
toddlers,,a boy and a girl...I use to love getting all bundled up
taking my kids to the park and playing in the snow for hours..I mean
when we finally got inside we were super wet and almost just as cold.
But the fun you have with your children is so unforgettable and priceless.
Continued fun with your children...it time that you will never get back.
ans time that they will always remember and think back on even when they
are grown up...

Yes, it does create positive memories, and I think every parent should spend time outdoors with their kids as much as possible. I want my kids to experience Mother Nature as much as possible. That's good you took your kids to the park, I think that's awesome! :-) Did you also make homemade hot chocolate afterwards? That's what I started to do last year.

Address so I can mail all our snow to you..lol My niece had 10 inches dumped on her where she lives in a few short hours. I am so not ready for snow and would rather not get any at all but if I had to a few short skiffs..To many doctors appointments for hubby to deal with.

I admit I like to stay in but I really want the kids to stay out and burn off their energy.

Well I am glad to hear that you are so excited about the snow. Personally I have never seen snow, but I am dying to spend Christmas in either Chicago or New York next year, and hopefully it will be snowing. I have been dying to see snow ever since I could remember and my kids often ask me when we are going to see snow and build a snow man. I always laugh because when I was younger I used to ask my mom the same thing. So hopefully next year, I will be able to fulfill my dream of seeing and playing in the snow.
