Time flies so fast!

Yesterday seemed like it was still January and here we are, on the verge of welcoming December and yet again, another year to celebrate and look forward too. As we grow older, doesn't time fly too fast that we couldn't almost take track of the dates?
I am so sure that when I was a lot younger, I have totally enjoyed every minute of it and that the upcoming days that we usually wait to come are just too long to forbear. I have been looking forward to every New Years as for me, it symbolizes New Hope, New Chance, New Life. For some I suppose, New Years could sometimes equate to New Struggles, New Obligations, New Commitments. You know, the mature things that we have to live, endure, and withstand.
But the year has just been so fleeting that it could only prove how life is so short. We are soon embracing 2012 and by then, we will be rolling out the red carpet for another year, and another year, and another and so on, and so forth.
Time flies too fast, so make the most of your life! It may be short but make it sweet!

Yeah, as much as we wanted to stretch the time a little more longer, it's being curtailed inevitably and all we know, another year has gone by.
Happy MyLotting friend! And have a great day!

You are so right. Times flies much faster the
older we get. When I was a child it seemed like
days would never end and holidays would never come.
You are right, we should make the most of every day.
Making the most of every day does not mean one has
to be busy or going places. I think it's important to
take time to reflect on life. A sort of meditation if
you will. Just being still and enjoying the quiet. That
is something I never could do when I was young. I could
not stand to be alone or quiet. Shows how much we change.
As now, I love my quiet time and being alone.

Yah, I have to agree with you that as we grow older, we are longing for more Me-time and that includes mostly the meditative moments we need for ourselves and just enjoying the simplicity and tranquility. It's the stillness that we long for to contemplate on and that's how it is going for us mature people.
Happy MyLotting to you joni and thanks for the wonderful response! Have a great day!
